There was a unique edge to the excitement this Starfall though, with the launch of the historic mission to space, to see the stars [b]before[/b] they fall, so to speak. Whispers amongst strangers between the booths, numerous telescopes set out each night in vain hope of spotting the ship or something else celestial; a fervour had seized the atmosphere, despite the festival having only just begun… “FOIL HATS TO FOIL THE ALIEN’S PLANS, GET YOUR FOIL HATS HERE” A spiral squirmed through the crowd, waving the shiny metal frantically, drawing eye rolls and tuts from those shoved out of the way. A small group of customers gathered around, some giggling as they bought some, others immediately using it to make not hats but add to their already flashy costumes. A nocturne preened the shimmering fabric they were adorned in as they added a tin foil tiara to their outfit. The hustle and bustle continued, an ongoing parade of costumes. Throwing arms and wings wide, he proclaimed to the crowd. “Festival-goers, dragons from flights far and wide, I would like to propose a competition of sorts! I notice that many of you have either come in your best apparel, or have gotten swept away with the Arcane aesthetic. You see, I have here some treasures from my own little hoard that are just gathering dust; surely they would be much more appreciated by dragons such as you?
