"that was the moment i lived for, when it all came clear at last and the spell could sing with its pure note, for me and me alone." blessed by the arcanist from a young age, circei holds an immense amount of magical power. floating down from the observatory itself, she gazed upon clan asterope with distaste for their apathy. the otherworldly spirits within her writhed and rose to the surface, manifesting upon her skin as gems of arcane pride. her deep and compelling voice drew the clan towards her, and she inspired a mystic fire within them so powerful that they could not resist her strength. her flight's chronological elements, coupled with her formidable talents, allow circei to see beyond the plane of the present. ganymede and castelia defer to her superior knowledge and magic, letting her take her rightful place as witch queen. she amuses herself by experimenting and pushing the limits of her powers, often giving guidance to other mages in the process. circei has a penchant for transforming her enemies into lesser creatures, an intimidating practice which keeps other clans wary. under her careful guidance, clan asterope's bonds hold tighter than ever. as their purpose remains a mystery to those outside the lair, outsiders dare not cross them. rumours constantly circulate, speaking of their experiments and research into the deepest secrets of magic itself. the whispers soon led to the clan being known as the crystal coven, a name which circei embraced wholeheartedly. after some innovative and detailed researched was undertaken by certain members of the coven, circei decided to turn her gaze northward, towards the ancient lands of dragonhome. the archaic magic hidden within its crystals has piqued the interest of circei and the many mages around her. a great deal of new ideas and concepts were gained during the clan's break in the wyrmwound. welcomed with open arms, circei picked up a few more friendly dragons who were keen to join her clan's quest. however her inherent curiosity and thirst for knowledge saw the coven returning to remain in the highland sanctum indefinitely. there's something about those crystals...
