shadow critters
I don't know what to call them really so i just call them shadow critters or creatures. XD Started off as a personal thing an i thought to share it with everyone.
Shadow critters/creature are shadow like beings with Birdlike faces/skulls
Almost resempling plague Drs an so on which was my inspiration when making them.Also to spark creativity an just to be wild with your imagination.
They can come in many different shapes an sizes.
Some can be really smol an some can be bigger then humans. When it comes down to appearence is pretty basic but as shadow beings that get to mostly decide their shape tho some are just made that way an can't change.
basic is bird like skull that can be inspired by real life birds or something made up. An a body. This body does not need limbs or even to look human.Once who don't show visable limbs can just extend their limb at will when ever needed. So showing visable limbs is more of a decorative thing for them. THEY DO NOT HAVE THUMBS. their limbs consist of 3 fingers or a tentacle. Some can have 5 fingers but like no thumbs. Kinda like if we had a 5th finger instead of a thumb.
They think thumbs are weird an having thumbs is considered odd to them.
They don't NEED to wear cloths but they can. as Decorative thing.
Cloths is considered a human concept so they may use unconvential items as clothing. so basically one could put arock on top of their head an call it a hat.
they HATE man made lights. So light bulbs an so on are a big no no.
They prefer nature lights. Like fire an esp candles. They love candles.
They don't need light to see but they like it.
They have have floatly particles like below. The blue marks how far a particle can be floating from the body. These particles can also hold things on them. They hold enoghe mass to be able to sturdly hold things. : 3
They can also have various eyes over their body an multi eyes on their skull.
They also don't NEED to eat. As eating is also a human concept. But they can eat.
An due to having durable bodies they can eat things that humans may not to. So they may consider none food items to be food.
They also don't have genders. Pronounes an such are again a human concept.
Mostly refer to other as their given name " like this is tim" " I am Tim" an so on.
The yare not hostile they are pretty peaceful but may not understand human's personal boundries. They are curious.
