It's probably not that no ones interested. I know I sure am! But the thing is, I don't think these sweeties would fit in my lair. How often was the thread bumped? Bumping it often to show the hatchlings will help. Also, it IS the festival week. People might be looking for other dragons for light reps and such.

Don't be discouraged! Honestly, NO opal dragon, especially an imperial, should be sold at 2kt. Please don't undersell yourself like that! I don't want someone taking advantage of this. :(

@renardchaton It helps also if you put an adult view either up where yer selling them, or in their profile. If I'm selling a gen 1, for example, I'll often go into the scry, make something pretty and put it in the profile; but put the adult image on the thread, and tell people that there are scry ideas. It takes a bit to find them homes, but they do - just gotta be diligent with bumps and posting to people(s) topics that they match with. Definitely don't undersell an opal lovely; the cheapest is in gems and it's around 55g. :P Could help if you have them listed in the auction house, as the cheapest crys/facet/opal babies (Or just the cheapest opal) but definitely don't lowball right off the bat hehe, some people are so busy farming the coliseum during festivals that sometimes you have to wait till after; this festival especially was so good, a lot of pretty things. :)

Then how much should i be selling them for... I originally had them priced around 60-100k and then lowered it to 20k-60k that wasn't low enough. I spent a long while picking and choosing the pairs to end up with some pretty hatchlings. dunno what else im supposed to add, i understand making previews of the hatchlings but nothing was enough to add even one person to a pinglist.

It really seems like I put too much effort into looking for good mates and then their babies end up getting exalted anyway.

Your original prices were FINE. You shouldn't undersell your dragons if no one seems to be buying. From the looks of this, you're still pretty new as a hatchery. You opened up RIGHT in the middle of brightshine, where people are probably buying numerous apparel items and skins for the dragons that they already own.

How do you know the babies will get exalted? Here's what I've learned—the lower price you give a dragon, the higher the chance for exalt.

Yet again, how many times did you BUMP the thread? Bumping is the only for-sure way for people to actually SEE the hatchery. Please, don't sell them for 2k. Trust me. That'll only ensure their fate as fodder.

You put a lot of effort into this. Give it time!!! And as backup, have them listed on the AH at the price you're asking for! Sometimes it takes people SO LONG to sell BEAUTIFUL dragons, just because of the timing of their hatchery.

Please, don't give up and don't be discouraged. In fact, your babies' original prices were QUITE inexpensive. But like the person before me said, people are probably busy grinding the coliseum for loot, rather than looking at dragon sales.

Please, put them back at their original prices. Bump the thread often! And here's some more tips.

- include previews of the hatchlings as adults!
- put the HATCHLINGS first, and THEN the pairs. People wanna see the goods as soon as possible! ^^
- advertise by saying your imps have a chance for OPAL! Opal is a highly popular gene. If you adversise the genes and color combos (for example, XXY dragons!), people might click on the link more often!
- yet again, bumping the thread is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL. Lots of other people are trying to sell dragons, too! You don't want your lovely hatchery disappearing to page three! Keep it on the front page as often as possible!

Trust me. If you keep on, this hatchery will flourish! These are some LOVELY imps! Don't be discouraged, please!

You just have to understand the TIME you opened up. You opened up in the MIDDLE of Brightshine Jubilee—people are VERY concerned with getting Prismatic Tokens and Joxar Boxes and recolors, probably a little more so than dragons AT THIS MOMENT.

And it often takes dragons longer than a day to sell! Draggies finding good homes is a process, but worthwhile!

I'll bet that right after Brightshine, you'll get more interest!!! ^^
