Hatchlings are usually born Realmwalkers as well, though they may have different tasks( and some may be more...cruel than most). Malfunction was the Lightning flight's own attempt, and although they were more successful, she was more of a flickering hologram than an actual dragon. Their hatchlings might be born with this condition, and sometimes the caretakers get awfully scared because who knows where their hatchlings might teleport. Born from the current Heda [i](commander)[/i] and the clans healer, the hatchling should be able to face anything. Every hatchling born from Nyko and Lexa will have the title nightblood. This means that their blood is black, which in return is a symbol of the fight against the shade. Many believe that these nightbloods are resistant to the shade, and will fight alongside the deities when/if the shade returns.
