- How do payment plans work?
We'll work out a minimum payment per week. After that, just send the me the payments until you've reached the total price for the dragon. I will hold it for you until you've paid it all off. If you don't make any payments for a month (so as to be fair to more active users), I'll reopen the dragon's listings for others to buy.
- Are any of the pairs/dragons related to each other?
Sorta is Postscript's aunt from four (or so) generations off. Other than that, there shouldn't be any others related to each other within the range of hindrance.
- I want to avoid using the AH to make my purchase. Can I send a crossroads trade for X dragon?
Yes, go ahead! Please deduct the AH tax (typically 464T) when you do so. I will check to make sure that you've asked to trade with the right amount of money.
- I bought one of your dragons on the AH, but I qualified for a discount and want the discount money back!
PM me saying this and let me know. I may need proof of your purchase (by screen-capturing the "you bought this dragon" message), but I won't require proof if you send the PM within a day of your purchase.
- I bought one of your dragons on the AH, but I want a refund!
I can refund all but the AH tax. I'm sorry if that extra 464 (-ish) treasure was meaningful to you!
- I want to buy one of the dragons listed for sale with gems, but it's listed for treasure (or vice-versa). What do I do?
Send me a crossroads trade for the amount converted to the currency you want to pay with (rounded up to the nearest whole number), and I'll send your new dragon along soon as I can. There's no guarantees that the dragon won't be sold in between the time it takes you to send the trade and for me to accept the trade, however. I will decline the crossroads trade if the dragon is specifically listed as "gems only" or "treasure only" and was sent for the wrong currency.
- I want to be on a different ping list, but I forgot to save the link to edit my place on the ping lists! What do I do?
You can just fill out the form again. It's no big deal. I'd prefer that you edit your response if you already made one, but re-replying is fine, too.
- I don't have enough money on hand for X dragon(s)! Can you hold the dragon(s) for me?
Of course! I'll hold dragons for you for a week, and I'll ping you on the sixth day if I'm still holding the dragon(s) and haven't heard from you since then. After that, they go back on the AH for other people to buy.
- Can I just send a CR (with a note about a purchase attached) for a dragon I want to buy?
Yes, of course! I encourage you to do so, in fact.
[*]
I would prefer to buy a dragon through private auction. Can you do that for me?
Yep, can do. It's no problem whatsoever! Keep in mind, though, that the hold rules described above still apply.
Yes, yes,
yes! I love hatchling letters!
The Cherub gene is pretty important to me.
It was released on my birthday! I see other people seem to like it a ton, too, so I think it's a good thing I'm willing to regene dragons like this to make more pretty Cherub dragons available. Other genes can be really good, too, but Cherub is my hands-down favorite.
- Did you take over this hatchery from someone else?
Nope, not really! I used to run this hatchery with Epioth back when my username was Neoven8tr.
- What are the genders/orientations in your pride flag pairs? / Can you explain what the genders/orientations in your pride flag pairs are?
Akoisexual: Feeling or developing sexual attraction without the desire to go into a relationship of that type. My experience as akoiromantic is similar: I'll get crushes, but I'm extremely uncomfortable with others showing romantic affection towards me. This is in the ace spectrum.
Asexual: Feeling and developing no sexual attraction. This is in the ace spectrum, obviously.
Autigender: A neurogender characterized by having a gender experience that can't completely be explained to allistics. Autigender folks like myself have facets (or the entirety!) of their gender that can only be completely understood by autistic folks. This gender is also open to people with pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) and "Asperger's" (which has since become plain autism as of the DSM-V).
Autochorrissexual: A disconnection between oneself and the object(s)/person(s) of one's desire. Autochorissexual people may feel sexual attraction, but there's a "gap" of sort (a metaphorical one) between them and what they're into. This is in the ace spectrum.
Demiboy: Partially male, partially nonbinary or another gender. This can overlap with bigender, demigirl, yinyang ren, and other genders.
Demisexual: Only feeling or developing sexual attraction after forming a strong emotional bond with the object(s)/person(s) of one's desire. This is in the ace spectrum.
Fascigender: A neurogender characterized by a gender experience largely connected to or influenced by autistic special interests. I would consider folks with ADHD but not autism to be able to claim this, too, since topic hyperfocuses are so similar to autistic special interests that the difference is nearly nonexistent.
Foggender: A neurogender characterized by "brain-fog" obscuring a person's view of their gender identity. People who are foggender (like myself) have a hard time pinning down their gender due to brain-fog or mental exhaustion. This label is for anyone whose mental disability or illness makes it hard to pin down their exact gender.
Neurogender: A special kind of gender to describe a gender experience influenced by a mental disability or illness. People who are not mentally disabled, mentally ill, or developmentally disabled (as in, autistic) are not allowed to use these genders.
Quasiplatonic: A strong form of platonic attraction. These differ from "best friends" because it is attraction on a romantic level but entirely platonic. A quasiplatonic partner is a platonic date-mate, in other words. If it helps, I refer to and act like
my quasiplatonic partner is my platonic boyfriend. We'll hit on each other all the time and say that that we love each other, but it's completely platonic. This label was made for aromantic-spectrum people, but non-aromantic folks can be in quasiplatonic relationships too.
- Do I have to identify with a pride flag pair in order to buy a dragon from those pairs?
Nope. You can buy them even if you don't identify with the pair's pride theme. However, if you do identify with the pair's pride theme, you get a little discount!
- I'm buying a pride flag dragon as a present for someone. Can I still get the discount, even if I don't identify with the flag in question?
Shoot me a PM and tell my why you care for this person. I'll make my decision solely based on your case.
