Countless dragons call the Sea of a Thousand Currents their home. Among them is the Hydrus Clan, started by a large grey Guardian known as Alexandros. As part of the Water flight, the Hydrus Clan swears undying loyalty to the Tidelord and boasts not only the gifted seers of Water dragons, but dragons of many other talents as well.

The Hydrus Clan values metal highly and every member can be seen adorning metal jewelry. A dragon's personal style varies, but without exception, each Hydrus dragon can be found wearing metal somewhere on their bodies. As such, Hydrus dragons may seem vain (and some of them are, very much so), but on the whole, the clan sees it as a visual symbol of their solidarity and all new members are given a metal accessory of their own as a welcoming gift.
