throughout the rooms of the lair, various scientists, engineers, and other professionals mill. in one grand chamber, you see a luminous monolith bound with machinery, but only for a moment before you are gently ushered back into the halls.

in one small series of partially flooded rooms, you find a small contingent of dragons at work, their occupation seeming slightly more sorcerous. lit candles float about the ceiling.
