The first line of the clan's defense stands on patrol around the boundaries of their territory, and these gargantuan guards are called the Watchers. Each territorial boundary, North, South, East, and West, has been assigned one Watcher, who is typically situated in an elevated region for a bird's eye view and a quick divebomb onto an invading force. A deep and loud roar from a Watcher is a sure sign of coming trouble, and the call for the Den of Defense to mobilize.
