Meridok's Lair

Beyond the boundary stone, the land continues as before: wind-carved mesa towers and crumbling canyons, ancient riverbeds long dry. Keen eyes spot the dark mouths of caves, dragonwrought stone ledges: old dens and roosts, long abandoned. The only sounds are the wind and the shriek of distant birds. You turn eastward, following a beaten track hugging a cliff, marked only by faded runes etched into stone. And there, at last: a distant flutter of activity, Skydancers circling.
