The dragons lead you past a network of dug out tree roots, the ground sloping down and underneath them. You can catch a glimpse of some dragons down there, but you are stopped by the one of your guides before you can investigate. She explains that those are the clan leaders and their advisors. They are not to be disturbed when under the roots.
