Training grounds for young, aspiring dragons whom seek to test their mettle against opponents large and small in the hopes of growing stronger and wiser- and finding new homes, be they as exalted, beloved and honored members of those dragons and ancestors before them serving a higher purpose. Or, in yet another hopeful horizon- becoming new, beloved members among another's lairs and dens, hoping to serve fellow dragonkind and their new owners well.
