Intro to Anthro Theory Part II Pairs: This theme highlights significant scholars, ideas, and texts from contemporary anthropological theory. Current anthropology challenges some of the bounded categories and binary oppositions that characterized earlier approaches (e.g. symbolism vs. materiality, nature vs. culture, etc). There is an awful lot of it out there, so breeding pairs in this theme tend to be named for my personal favorite concepts and topics!
