…is needed for my custom progen! I was thrilled with his scatter and wanted to lean into the browns initially, but now I’ve gotten bored of his visually monotonous appearance and feel like I’m not using copper to its full potential.

I feel like constellation does the best job of providing some visual contrast while still maintaining overall coherence. However, it’s eye wateringly expensive and less colourful than the others…

The poor man’s constellation, down to the dark brown markings on the wings. I actually really like this, it has a soft downy look that constellation doesn’t. The blue highlights on the mane look a little uneven though.

This is like flair, but the wings and mane actually match. I love the bright contrast this option provides, and it’s really striking in the lair view size. The shade of blue is lovely. However, like flair, it might be a bit too in-your-face.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on which of these options is the best. If you think the current look is the best and I shouldn’t change him, I want to hear that too! Thanks in advance for helping me decide!

i prefer peregrine! it's got the least intrusive amount of blue in it, i don't like what the blue adds to the overall aescthetic

I like them all, though Peregrine like how blue gives off like steam effect in the mane like come out of top of teapot vibes

Love love love foam, I think it's a perfect pop of contrast and best compliments the blues that terracotta can throw.

Peregrine! The blue is a hint of ethereal, almost ghostly glow without being overbearing (foam), weirdly positioned (constellation), or a jarring contrast (flair).

Oohh, Glycol is gorgoeus. I can see why this is a tough choice. First of all, I want to emphasize your decision to add another secondary gene because Copper has so much potential and his current look seems indeed a bit monotonous.
To start with the easiest decision: I'd rule out Flair for the reasons you mentioned; the greenish mane is too bright and doesn't even fit the wings really well, so it feels a bit off and unbalanced to me.
Personally, I'd choose Peregrine over Constellation because it looks slightly better in my eyes, and avoids the huge costs. It looks more balanced and cohesive, and I actually like that the blue nuances and spots are clearer visible than on Constellation (which looks a bit blurry to me?). Peregrine adds a nice contrast and a perfectly fitting amount of blue, in my eyes.
Sooo, to me it's a choice between Peregrine and Foam - I confess, I'm with @/osteophagy above me that Foam really adds a perfect pop of contrast, and makes him very interesting. It's the most unique option, but it's also a bit reckless so to speak, because the contrast is indeed remarkable and in-your-face. It depends if that's something you can personally fully embrace for him, and given your descriptions I feel like you're hesitant on that - which is why I'd ultimately vote for Peregrine. It doesn't change his current look too much, but adds a new, interesting, and charming blue colour tone, which blends perfectly into his design. It's subtle, but clearly visible, and seems to me the most appealing and aesthetically pleasant choice :)
