Vayne here was the main character of the story, and thankfully, she prevailed instead of becoming a part of the Emperor herself!

This guy used to be a head of an Emperor, in the very same Pinkerlocke Sabariel mentions above. (There is also a link to it in this guy's bio, I recommend checking it out from the beginning - unless of course you want to start in one of the earlier Pinkerlockes Vayne* was a character in)
The two dragons beside him in my lair tab, Ampoule and Devara, are also characters from that 'Locke.
Ampoule was adopted due to provenance - she entered the Locke via my lair (where she was hatched) and has returned here as a robot with a legacy
Devana, because I fell in love with her character. She's gritty, I like that.
And Asperity above, because he's my nephew's birthday dragon, is gorgeous, and has a cool story involving life after death from an Imperial's perspective I guess.

I've yet to nail down lore for Atka, but she always struck me as a ruthless empress, heck-bent on causing as much pain and destruction as dragonly possible xD

This Emperor is called Ghuleh. The names and histories of the Imperials that became this are long lost to time. Legend says one of them was once a queen of a kingdom long consumed by the lava of the Ashfall Wastes.
By luck or by circomstance, Ghuleh remains imprisoned underground, guarded by those who know it's not an if Ghuleh will break free, but when.

Unfortunately, I have a few more things to do today that I forgot about so I’ll have to keep this short. Even though this is, also, a Star Trek dragon. Another engineer, and no one was surprised. Geordi was (and probably still is) my favorite (main cast) character in The Next Generation, the same show that [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/3304054/47#post_56526612]Taurik[/url] is from. I was going to get a Geordi and a Data but… [i]I don’t like Data[/i]. I know this is heresy or something, but I finally decided (even though I bought a Data and even got him a cat) that I didn’t want a fandragon of a character I don’t like. So. He’ll have to visit someone else’s Data or something. Or maybe I’ll do some weird cross-over thing like I always do and he’ll have a Data-esque buddy.
Anyway, so Geordi was an all-basic Noc when I got him, and I gave him all his genes at some point this year. I would have opted for a G2+ like I do for all my dragons, but there weren’t any dragons in the colors I wanted somehow. I’m looking for similar colors for my Tuvok dragon and let me tell you… it’s a pain.
I have Tuvok now, so I think that’s pretty much all the Star Trek dragons I want. (I say that now, but just wait a few days.)
Geordi is a combat engineer for the Tempest Chase, meaning that he makes machines for them to use to fight stuff or protect themselves. If they have redoubts, he’s the one that told them how to make them. He builds walls and trebuchets and whatever else a dragon society of this technology would build. Which is impressive because he, like the character he’s based on, is blind. But like Toph in the Last Airbender, he can use the ground in a sort-of echo-location that allows him to navigate. But that does make flying pretty difficult for him…

Here are Lyre and Bubbles! Lyre can perceive light and dark, and colors if they're bright. But he's very definitely blind. His jug spirit acts as a guide when he's in the air, directing him to fly where it's safe; on the ground he typically uses a cane held in his tail.
He loves to tell stories, and has a knack for knowing what story will mean the most to the person he's talking to - this can be good or bad, depending on whether he's friendly with them or not. He'll walk along the beach for hours, daydreaming and gathering the edible seaweed to bring home and dry into crunchy snacks - it's easy enough to tell what the good stuff is by smell - or process it until he has enough of a gelatin-like compound to make flavored jelly dessert. Man loves jello.

I always enjoyed the episodes of Star Trek that I saw, but never had the opportunity to watch start to finish.
