The cats of Perchclan are still mourning the young Salmonpaw when yet another young cat - the warrior Troutswoop, just barely out of her apprentice training - is found dead just outside the camp. A third inexplicable death, this one just a moon after the last, baffles the Clan, and Ratsplash grows ever stressed.

Despite the dreadful aura that lingered throughout the camp, the Clan celebrated the newest addition to their group - Luckymist and Tinypurr’s singular kit, Hawkkit. She is small yet strong, with caramel fur like her father - and her namesake, Littlehawk.

Is Perchclan cursed?? Or is there a traitor in the Clan…?

During a storm, a flash flood damages part of the camp and a swath of low-lying FjordClan territory. Thankfully, no one is hurt. It makes hunting very difficult this moon. A lot of the prey has fled or is inaccessible because of the water damage.

Scratch reluctantly moves to the nursery. (Scratch will have kits in 1 moon.)

Emberpaw, Bearpaw, Firpaw, and Dreampaw are now apprentices!

Aurora becomes a warrior, and stands vigil during a nightlong rainstorm.

After Aurora passes her warrior assessment, she talks to Dawnsun again, and this time he agrees to be mates - she's proven herself to no longer be a kittypet.

Crowcall could not work up the courage to confess her feelings to Gullfeather. He always seems so disinterested, even though he agrees to do things together. (Crowcall will try again next moon.)

Notes: I noticed BirchClan uses two event rolls a moon, and since I'm using the extended rule set, I decided to do that too.

While on a hunting patrol with Iceskip and Hollowpaw, Rookstar caught an interesting scent. He was led to the side of the thunderpath, where three kits lay in a strange contraption bundled in twoleg furs. Ignoring his prey completely, he gathered up the kits, sending Iceskip and her apprentice to gather what he had hunted.

Taking them in as his own, he named them Lilackit, Lavenderkit, and Wisteriakit, after their lilac-tinted fur. Thankfully, Luckymist agreed to nurse the kits until they were old enough to leave the nursery. While on a hunting patrol with Iceskip and Hollowpaw, Rookstar caught an interesting scent. He was led to the side of the thunderpath, where three kits lay in a strange contraption bundled in twoleg furs. Year 4 - Moon 54 - greenleaf (3/3)

Event roll: 3, 87

A patrol containing of Moonsong, Flutterlight, Ivoryshine, Sweetpaw, and Warmheart were patrolling around the border when a whole pack of foxes attacked them! Since they were outnumbered and poor Sweetpaw was the most weakest of them and had the most injuries, Ivoryshine demanded to her apprentice to go to the clan for support. Sadly, Sweetpaw was able to gasp out the words for help to the warriors before she crumpled and lay still, dead. The cats all ran to help the rest of the patrol, and thankfully no one else was dead, although the rest of the patrol were badly hurt. Glimmerfall declared that Moonsong will be able to get better in 5 moons, Flutterlight in 6 moons, and Ivoryshine and Warmheart in 4 moons.

Speaking of medicine cats, Honeytuft overheard Goldenwater shyly asking Appleleaf out. For some reason, the medicine cat felt disappointed and wanted to claw off Goldenwater's ears, but managed to keep herself silent. Weird. Then, to her surprise, Appleleaf guiltily rejected Goldenwater, telling her that he already had someone else he liked. It took Honeytuft a few seconds before realizing that he meant her. Suddenly, knowing what to do, Honeytuft waited for him to come to the fresh-kill pile, and met him there, offering to be her mate. Looking extremely happy, Appleleaf purred and licked her ears. The Revelers

Year 3 - Moon 11 - Winter

Roll: 64, 4 | 80, 3 | 9, 2, 5

While the group prepares for battle, some of the kits show great skill and enthusiasm for their training. At their parents' endorsement, a few of them are made trainees early! Grim is assigned as Kestrel's mentor, Sofia as Camellia's, Strike as Hawthorn's and Patch as Wren's. Willow and Heather, however, still need a little more time before they're ready for their training.
The day of the raid commences! Robin, Light, Sofia and Cricket stay behind in the casino while all other agents follow Jester and Grim to the Red Seekers' camp. The journey through the sewers is miserable, but they had scouted a secret route during preparations, and manage to successfully ambush their rivals. As they barge into the underground camp, they spot many of their missing members kept as prisoners! Emboldened, the fight quickly turns vengeful and brutal. Most of the prisoners are too exhausted to join, but Thunder and Amber push themselves to their limit in order to help.
Calypso and Daphne fight together against a particularly massive she-cat. What they lack in combat knowledge they make up with determination, both desperate to prove themselves as worthy of being in the colony. Meanwhile, Diego, Strike, and Patch go up against two enemies each, keeping them occupied while Sandy hurriedly works to free the other prisoners.
Grim battles the Seekers' leader, Gorge. The massive black-and-white tom is a merciless opponent, strengthened by his life-siphoning abilities. Even so, after a long and vicious conflict, Grim manages to take one of his lives. However, Gorge is back on his feet in almost an instant. Right as things are about to take a turn for the worse, Jester leaps out of the shadows and his teeth close around the larger tom's throat. Having lost two lives in a row, Gorge finally gives in and escapes.
With the leader gone, the others quickly desert the camp. In the aftermath, Grim, Sandy and Strike are the most injured, and will take a few moons to recover. On the upside, a total of nine missing cats have been recovered: Thunder, Amber, Dapple, Eric, Starling, Storm, Honey, Mousey, and Hope. Though some are heavily wounded, they should be able to make a full recovery in time. Unfortunately, they also inform their rescuers that Ash and Flurry had already perished, having their lives stolen by Gorge. As for the other missing cats, nobody had seen them in the sewers, so they must've met a different fate.
Eventually, everyone is safely escorted back to camp. The medics declare that all injured cats will need 5 moons to recover. But perhaps from now on, the clan will finally have a moment of peace.

Year Two, Moon Three. Current Season: Leafbare.
Event Roll: 38, 2 - Kits Found; 86 - A Peaceful Day..

Sneezenose is out on a solo patrol when she has her kits! She did do this on purpose, mostly because nobody expect Creekwind knows she even was carrying kits. She has three total: a fluffy black tom, Perchkit; a golden tabby she, Krestelkit; and a dark grey tabby tom, Dustkit. While heading back to camp with these kits after a few hours, she finds two other kits, abandoned! One is a ginger tabby shekit, but the other has pure white fur. The kits are really young, but at this stage seemed to have opened their eyes. Sneezenose makes the discovery that the pure white kit is blind! As she takes these kits along with her back to camp, she wonders who could be so heartless to do something like this.

The pure white kit, a tom, is named Frostkit, while the ginger tabby she is named Wildkit. Because Sneezenose is the one who found the kits, Fallenstar allos her to take care of them. He doesnt question how she is able to since he has way more important things on his mind.

One day Fallenstar calls a meeting and reveals that he didnt want to believe it, but he knows Moonspot broke the warrior code by being mates with Ember even before he joined the clan. Moonspot quickly got defensive, and even Ember angrily asked how he would know if that was true, and why he would accuse them of something like that. Fallenstar replied that he had been given a vision from Starclan. Raccooncatcher also stepped in, adding that back when he first became a medicine apprentice, he had seen Ember and Moonspot together before the tom had joined the clan. He also added that he had seen the signs, and even Spiderfoot shared his suspicions. When Moonspot had her kits, he knew they had to be Ember's.

Moonspot questioned that if he knew, why didnt they do anything before? Punishing her and her mate many moons after the rule break wasnt fair. Fallenstar harshly told them to stop, and that he had made his decision. Though this decision of his would turn out to be completely irrational: exile from Birchclan. The clan was horrified, especially Moonspot's kits, and even Ravenfleck tried to tell him that was way too big of a punishment for breaking the code one time. Fallenstar harshly told them that his word was the code, and his word was that they were to be exiled. They had until sunset to leave Birchclan territory, or they would be treated like any other outsider. The two had no choice but to leave, but not before many sad goodbyes from their clan.

After than incident Birchclan was peaceful, but tension was definetely in the air for the remainder of the mood. A silent bitterness towards Fallenstar began to rise. Even the apprentices could focus on their training, especially Noblepaw. He seemed off, and when Wishpaw tried asking him what was wrong, he admitted that he kept being visited by a Starclan cat he didnt recognise. Something felt off about the cat, but he didnt know what. Wishpaw reassured him that if anything happened, he always had him to talk to. Noblepaw was grateful, but still was hiding...something.

At least the sick cats recovered from their illness. Firepaw is back to training, but knows she will have to wait to become a warrior. Meanwhile, Wishpaw is the age to become a warrior, and is now Wishwillow.

Fallenstar wondered if the decision Mintfrost had told him to make was right. He could only hope it was. After all, he had gotten that sign from Starclan itself, not just Mintfrost. Right?

Moonspot and Ember have been exiled from Birchclan. Perchkit, Krestelkit and Dustkit are born, while Wildkit and Frostkit have been found and taken into camp. Wishpaw has become a warrior, earning the name Wishwillow.

Mintfrost and Sootsteps are planning something.

dont worry guys, embermoon isnt gone yet. theyll make some appearances in the future [if rng is nice to me!]

wanted to bring in more drama with the dark forest, so plot twist mintfrost is connected to the embermoon exile. how though, youll see later :]

congrats to wishwillow for becoming a warrior! his suffix choice isnt random- he partially named himself after his best friend. noblepaw likes willow flowers.

wanted to bring in more drama with the dark forest, so plot twist mintfrost is connected to the embermoon exile. how though, youll see later :]

congrats to wishwillow for becoming a warrior! his suffix choice isnt random- he partially named himself after his best friend. noblepaw likes willow flowers.

News from the Wise and Corageous

Roll: 97

A patrol consisting of Berrylight, Fidgetfeather, Frostheart, Hopeshard, and Coal go missing at Sunclan's border. A few cats go out to where they were last seen but are unable to catch their scent anywhere. It's almost as if they never existed in the first place. Their absence will be felt deeply by the clan.

Sunstar reluctantly asks Cloudburst if she would like to be deputy as her kits are ready to become apprentices. She says yes, and it's announced to the clan before moonhigh.

Her kits, Owlpaw and Violetpaw, will be mentored by Bloomshine and Pinewhisker respectively.

Butterflypaw is ready to become a warrior, and she will be known as Butterflywing.

Willowtuft gives birth to 2 healthy kits without her mate. She names them Featherkit (Cream tabby she-kit) and Dustkit (Splotchy black and white tom).

Basilsight brings up retirement to Elmspirit, but he shrugs it off.

Henfeather and Foxflame decide that they want to try and raise a litter of kits together, so they find a tom to help. Henfeather announces that she is having another litter of kits with the help of Foxflame by the end of the moon.

Notes:

This is the second time that Frostheart has gone missing. Also, yay for Henfeather and Foxflame. Also, glad there is finally a she-cat in my leadership again.

Just when the clan cats think that the sickness that struck them last moon is join, it comes back in full force. Despite Rabbitspot's and Flintpaw's best efforts, Archstar and Hardtack pass due to the sickness, leaving the clan devastated to not only lose its leader but also one of its best warriors.
Due to Archstar's death, Frostthorn has become Dawnclan's new leader. Now Froststar, she names Goosecry as her deputy.
Forestpaw and Thurshpaw are both tasked with ensuring that there is enough fresh prey to go around when the older warriors are too ill to hunt. While both manage to bring in enough prey, Forestpaw is caught eating some of her fresh-kill while out hunting, rather than saving it for the sick cats. As such, she fails her warrior assessment, while Thrushpaw passes his. Thurshpaw ultimately becomes the last warrior that Archstar names, proudly taking on the name Thurshsong.
Meanwhile, Raykit and Codkit have become old enough to become apprentices! They are apprenticed to Fogfrost and Leapingfish respectively.

Lore Bits/Notes:
Not Archstar and Hardtack! Really said to see them both go :( Especially since the only one left from my original clan is Icefang now.
That being said, I am planning to eventually give my leaders a chance to have more than one life, though it'll definitely not be guaranteed that they get all 9. I'll probably make the change when my clan hits 100 moons.
Also, I'll be using the extended ruleset if my population dips below 18 cats! I've been pretty good at keeping the number around 20ish (despite rng's best efforts) but I figured that it would be nice to have that safety net in case a get a bunch of bad rolls in a row or something like that.
