As the cats of Perchclan began to stir, a horrified, mournful wail could be heard throughout the camp. Birdscream and Reed, who joined the Clan with their kit last moon, was standing over the cold, still body of Salmonpaw.
Much to Ratsplash's dismay, he and Birdpaw were unable to determine the young cat's cause of death. Could it have been the same culprit as whatever - or whoever - caused Littlehawk's untimely death?
The Clan mourns the loss of their friend, and vows to determine the cause eventually, however long it may take.
Another random death??? With poor Salmonpaw who JUST got here? Perchclan doesn't have good luck so far!

Blackrose is expecting kits! The clan's congratulations are a bit forced, since the clan is struggling with overpopulation and the prey is short for warriors. As the black molly stayed there, looking apologetic and discomfortable, Brookstream, Swanpaw, and the queens all cheer Blackrose up and give her advices. Smokewing soothed Blackrose that their kits will be all right, and they would grow up well.
Breezestripe's kits are being apprentices a moon early! Yewpaw and Apricotpaw are apprenticed by Clearwing and Branchfur.
Lilacheart made up her mind and decided to confess to Pureheart, but she missed her chance as she sprained her foot and had to be stuck in the medicine cats' den.
Appleleaf is helping Honeytuft with all kinds of stuff, even cleaning up her den. Furious, Honeytuft growled that she didn't need his help and could do things very well even with blind eyes. Appleleaf replied that he purely just wanted to help her as she, not for the first time, kicked him out of her den.

Storm, Mousey, Honey and Hope all disappear. The following day, Jester claims to have had a prophetic dream from the Wisps, and believes that the majority of the missing cats have been kidnapped by one of their rival gangs, The Red Seekers. They're a sewer-dwelling colony led by one of the city's Luminaries, Gorge. Rumours say he gains strength and lenghtens his own life by devouring the life force of other cats. If there's any hope for rescue, there's no time to lose.

Calypso and Daphne have earned the right to join, though Grim warns them that the Revelers are anticipating trouble ahead. Determined to prove themselves, the ex-housecats agree to participate in the oncoming raid.

Seeing the desperate situation the group is in, Strike finally mentions his encounter with Patch. He, Diego and Grim search through the territories and eventually locate him, upon which Grim informs him of the recent events and gives him the choice to rejoin the Revelers. As unpleasant as it sounds, Patch cannot see himself in any other colony, so he gladly accepts.

i have a total of 16 missing cats, LOL. whatever i roll for tomorrow's event, i'm going to do some additional battle rolls for the upcoming conflict. i look forward to it!

Twolegs! Luckily, to Wisteriastar's wisdom and Ravenfrost's quick-thinking, they escaped without getting caught. Twolegs! Luckily, to Wisteriastar's wisdom and Ravenfrost's quick-thinking, they escaped without getting caught. The cats all waited until the twolegs were gone for good - they made a small fire and caught fishes in the lake near the camp with weird twoleg stuff - and returned back to their home, relieved.

News from the Wise and Corageous

With Sunclan's hope reignited after the reappearance of Wildfur, Hopeshard sends out Henfeather, Minnowsplash, and Braveclaw to rescue Bloomshine. Henfeather leads them across the River Crossing, and they continue to twoleg territory until the buildings are tall and the monsters are plentiful. They are far beyond anywhere they have traveled before when they finally discover
Bloomshine defending her own territory with tooth and nail. They are surprised to see how grizzled and dangerous she has become, but when she sees them, she immediately runs up to Henfeather and squishes her face into her fur, refusing to back away. Bloomshine admits that she is lonely out here, catching prey and defending territory only for herself. Bloomshine asks if she could return to Sunclan with them as if that wasn't the whole point of the mission. They agree earnestly, and Bloomshine rejoins Sunclan!
Meanwhile, Ivytail gives birth to 4 healthy kits:
Darkkit (Black she-kit),
Slightkit (Small torbie she-kit),
Otterkit (Dark brown tabby tom), and
Oakkit (Pale brown tabby tom).
On a similar note, Willowtuft moves to the nursery.
Also, Berrypaw and Aspenpaw are ready to become warriors. They will now be known as Berrylight and Aspenleaf respectively.
Elmspirit begins thinking about retiring and becoming an elder. However, there is no rush, and he'll consider it again later.

Event Roll: 50, 3 - Early Warriors; 83, 19 - An "Unknown" Death.
Sootsteps goes out at moonhigh to make dirt, and does not return. Chesterwhisker and Antlerprance find her dead in the middle of the territory. There have been no rouges or anything in the territory, so nobody knows how she died.
Antlerprance eventually confesses the truth: they'd been the one to kill Sootsteps, out of self defense. Sootsteps had asked Antlerprance to be her mate, but the cat refused, admitting that them and Chesterwhisker were actually already mates.
Fueled by jealousy, now heartbreak and the fact that her mind was clouded and not really up there, Sootsteps had attacked Antlerprance. Despite the cat trying to spare her without severely hurting her, they realized they would not get out of this alive if Sootsteps lived. So they did what they had to do.
Greymoon and Ravenfleck could tell their parents were devastated by the loss of another kit of theirs, but they couldn't help feeling slight resentment to their sister. How could she try to get rid of her own clanmate? It was horrible. One look at Sparkpaw, Firepaw and Wishpaw told them that their younger siblings felt the same way.
On a much more positive note, Twistedpaw, Mintypaw, Sparkpaw and Shimmer all were given tests and were deemed ready to be early warriors. But to their disappointment, neither Noblepaw or Wishpaw got the same test. Noblepaw was admittedly pretty upset about this, but did his best to be happy for his friends as they were named Twistedspirit, Mintyteeth and Sparkfire.
Shimmer announces that he'd actually like to train as a doctor's apprentice. Fluffybelly admitted that she had seen this decision coming, and is perfectly okay with training Shimmer.
Raccooncatcher comes up to Fallenstar a few days later and tells him what he knows about Ember and Moonspot. The leader does not do anything for now, as he needs to think, but it could be noted that he does not place either of the two on patrols out of camp anymore.
Mintfrost welcomes Sootsteps to the Place of No Stars.
Sootsteps has passed and has decended to the gloom of the Dark Forest. Twistedpaw, Mintypaw and Sparkpaw are now Twistedspirit, Mintyteeth and Sparkfire!

- As the weather becomes colder, a sudden illness strikes the clan. Due to Rabbitspot's and Sootpaw's efforts, however, no-one dies from it and the clan cats are able to recover without incident.
- Unfortunately, Forestpaw was one of the cats that fell ill this moon and thus did not have the strength to take her warrior assessment. Frostthorn assures her that she can still have one next moon.
- When Stonejaw continues to end up on patrols with Leapingfish (Frostthorn may or may not ship them), he continues to grow closer to her. Eventually, he is able to find a quiet moment this moon and confess to her! She admits to feeling lonely and is more than excited to try being mates!
