so, i really adore my progens. i feel like i got SUPER lucky with them, and even more lucky with how some newer genes made moren especially even more amazing. but when i first got them, it was the old color wheel and their colors were super close to each other in range. i even still have their first breeding card!

they do have lore, but it is...[i]complicated,[/i] so i'll shorten it for you: the pair spawn from nothing in the middle of the starwood strand and get adopted by a plague-arcane mirror pack, before the pack gets murdered by nature extremists and umbrella is cursed to go mad...which ultimately results in them accidentally unleashing their anger in the vessel of a dragon while trying to remove their ability to feel it. after chasing it around for ages (and after a bunch of random dragons get beaten up by the anger dragon) they manage to seal it away, but BAM, it breaks out from its prison after more than a decade of being locked away and many shenanigans ensue
...yeah, it sucks, but i personally like it so. oh well. i am cringe and i am free

my custom progen. i regretted her colour choice for a long time, but now i think i’ve made it work nicely without scatters.

oh yes i absolutely adore my progens! i got super lucky with them - i've never had to scatter them yet they match each other (and my aesthetic) very well. i continue to spend as much time and money as i need to on them, even after almost three years.

[center]My progens are the resident wholesome old couple who will adopt basically anyone who'll allow them to do so, haha!
I can't bring myself to even try and re-gene them at the moment I love them just as they are ;^; I'm filling that void by making over their babs instead tho :D

Dew was my random progen! He's the clan's primary healer and is very cuddly :) I felt super lucky when I first got him since tuns are my favourite starter breed by far! His tert is pretty bad though :/

mine have both been breed changed and gened but never scattered. too afraid of being stuck with smth horrible haha

my custom, he's been through like. four secondaries and at least two or three primaries only for me to go back to basic. the poor boy.

and denni is my random. her choc tert gave me nightmares for years but stained to the rescue you know? her lore is some of my fave i've ever written tbh. she started out a guardian who felt like a failure bc she couldn't figure out what her charge was. she felt like she was [i]so close[/i] but she just... had no idea what to do and it made her feel horrible. so she got a breed change from the clan's resident swamp witch and was like. oh. i see how it is. the pearl is my charge. of course it is. she uses her pearl as a sort of repository for the clan's history now, preserving memories of this weird and wonderful family she's found.

I feel pretty lucky that Myrkur's tert and Jolyu's colours are quite matchy to work with ! Both of them still needs one more gene (which both are gem genes @-@) until they're all gened up
