Event Roll: 47, 3 - Flood; 57, 8 - Prey Shortage.
The stream near Birchclan had swelled at higher levels at usual, flooding the camp once again. This time the clan is not as lucky, and Beetle, Perchkit and Ferretwhisker all drown. Tension is high in the clan, especially after Raccooncatcher announces that this was sent by Starclan themselves.
Fallenstar questions why his father was taken so soon after Midgestar, and distances himself from the clan. This bears most of the responsibility on Cloudflower, who is reasonably overwhelmed and constantly reaches out to Ravenfleck to help her navigate deputy situations.
Greymoon goes out to check on his mother and Ember, who both tell him that they are doing okay. Both warn him that prey will be low due to the flood.
While the water is being cleared out and the camp rebuilt, it is difficult to find prey. Many go hungry despite rationing, but manage to make it through the moon. By the end, while greenleaf is arriving, prey is returning and the clan is much more lively.
Except for Fallenstar. He's been distancing himself.
The doctors have had good luck collecting all other herbs, but their usual places they go to for mint have been overidden by rot, making the mint ruined and unusable. Shimmer begins to question if this is a sign.
Ferretwhisker, Perchkit and Beetle have passed and joined the ranks of Starclan.

The chance of a riot from the clan has not increased. It is currently at 10%.

Year 8 - Moon 85 – New-leaf (1/3)

- Snowstorms continue to batter clan territory. Though prey and herbs are definitely running low, the clan's warriors are able to get as much hunting done when possible, and, when the weather occasionally calms, they work to reinforce the dens to be as warm as possible. Because of their efforts, Dawnclan makes it through this moon without any injuries or deaths.
- Froststar has 3 kits! She and Rabbitspot name them Stormkit, Blizzardkit, and Quietkit.
- When Aspenshadow helps keep Tawnyclaw and her kits company during the worst of the snowstorm, Tawnyclaw uses the opportunity to confess her feelings! Aspenshadow confesses that she feels the same, but didn't want to risk getting between Tawnyclaw and her kits. However, since Aspenshadow has been around for so much of their kit hood, Tawnyclaw's kits quickly accept her, and Aspenshadow and Tawnyclaw officially become mates!

After a few relatively peaceful moons, tragedy strikes when Sunclan experiences a prey shortage. They try to ration their food supply as much as possible, but some cats don't make it.
Braveclaw, who gave all of his rations to Elmspirit, is the first to pass away.

Minnowsplash follow. The clan provides as much as they can to their kits, but on a particularly fresh-kill-less day,

The Revelers, though, live up to their name and merely look on in amusement.

Faith misses his sister, who'd been the most confident of the three siblings, and his mother's death is still affecting him. Meanwhile, Calypso mourns Daphne, explaining that their friendship was brief but true. The two become good friends as a result, promising to spend more time together.

Mousey and Amber have a small date together close by the casino, as they're both too injured to go far. They discuss their plans for the future, and Amber admits she's frustrated that they can't have kits together. However, Mousey assures her that kits had never been something she wanted, and just being with Amber is enough for her. Relieved, Amber says she feels the same way, and the two spend the evening happily nestling against each other.

Iceclan attack! The first to notice was Pebbletuft, who instantly noticed an unfamiliar scent and woke up the other warriors. As the cats let out outrageous yowls, Wisteriastar leaped up at the strongest warrior and deputy of Iceclan, Wavelight. The one who killed Aspentail. However, Wavelight was too strong for Wisteriastar and killed her with his long claws. The warriors and the apprentices, who just came in, let out yowls of fury and the senior warriors sprang up to the Iceclan tom while the apprentices crouched to the clan leader.
Cats watched in silence as their leader twitched, then within a few seconds, Wisteriastar woke up. Her first life was gone. Meanwhile, the other cats were fighting against the other Iceclan cats. As a cat lashed out to Sageclaw, the pale orange tom staggered and fell to the ground, unmoving, while Suntail wailed as his kits sniffed confusingly next to Ashspring's body. Suddenly, Wavelight leaped at Blueflower, who was leading the injured cats to the medicine cats' den, but before he could, Opaleye stepped up in front of Blueflower and glared at the Iceclan tom. After a long, shocking silence, Wavelight finally turned around and yowled retreat.
As the cats gathered around at Opaleye, the molly simply turned away and headed towards the medicine cats' den to help the injured.
Quailfur is feeding Ashspring's kits.
Not much today, except the fact that Ashspring is dead. Sad :(
I'm starting to make some drama with Opaleye and Wavelight.

A whole patrol vanishes! Generate 3 - 5 numbers between 1 - and the total amount of cats that are able to go on patrol. Those cats are declared missing. (Missing cats can be recovered using the Rescue Mission roll in the extended rule set. If not using the extended ruleset, these cats can be treated as if they are dead.)
Wavecrest leads a border patrol of six cats - Dawnsun, Daylight, Lichenbloom, Dreampaw, and Cloudshadow- out in the morning, but by the afternoon, only five return.
Dreampaw, Wavecrest's apprentice, had been grabbed by an eagle while she was straying from the rest of the patrol. She had always been a very small cat. They'd searched for hours to find any trace of her and failed, coming home without her. Emberpaw, Bearpaw, and Firpaw are devastated.

One was a pure white molly, another was a silver molly that vaguely reminded of Moonsong, the third a completely black tom, and the last one a small white tom with tufts of gray fur. The patrol took pity of the kits who looked like less than a moon old, and took them to the clan. The cats sympathized with the poor kits, while Brightwing offered to feed them. Silverpaw named the silver molly Moonkit, since she looked so much like his mother. The pure white molly was Whitekit, while the smoky black tom was Aspenkit, and the small tom was named Splashkit.
When Lakepaw went out to gather herbs near the Thunderpath, she found another 2 kits! This time they were older kits, probably the age of an apprentice. The first one was a ginger molly with darker shade of fur in her foot, and the other was a red and brown tabby tom. As Lakepaw took sympathy and scooped up the kits, the ginger molly let out indignant mews. She complained they were waiting for her mother, who wasn't returning for days. The tom introduced him and his sister as Blaze and Marigold, and their mother was out hunting. Assuming that their mother was probably killed by a Twoleg monster, Lakepaw offered the kits to take refuge in her clan for a while. Blaze nodded eagerly, while Marigold hesitated. As her brother nudged her and whispered something, Marigold reluctantly nodded. As Lakepaw took them to Icestar, the clan leader took pity and asked them if they were going to take new names. Blaze looked wild, in a good way, while Marigold looked uncomfortable, but they eventually both accepted their new names: Blazekit and Marigoldkit. The nursery is crowded!
This time, Silverpaw is highly determined to success his assessment, and to the clan's surprise, he caught prey for half of the clan! He earned his warrior name: Silversky.
Creamfur's kits are ready to be apprentices! Sunnypaw is apprenticed by Branchfur, and Dandelionpaw is apprenticed by Cloudfern.
Fogfrost is expecting kits!
