Imagine not having to fill your pockets or have your arms and wings full, just walk as everything floats around you! But really none of the village, the Plantsingers, or my direct kin were surprised. It is part of our job to report to our Captain regularly, so everyone knew what I was planning to do. The tidal pools that I sing and nurture are far enough from the village so to my knowledge my singing has not disrupted anyone." She produced a soft laugh. "I suppose the irony of a Ridgeback trying to face her extreme hydrophobia was the real source of surprise. But Plantsingers are providers; we are heavily relied on to feed the clan. Usually plant based food mind you, but those tasty little fishies and shellfishies need plants too! And I eat fish. So it made sense to me to design a reliable farm for fish, shellfish, and aquatic plants for consumption. It's not like I have to touch the water all that much. Tides change." [b]Skip me.
