Welcome to the Plagued Pirates! Founded by Cthulu after he fled to sea to avoid a sickness, it is a pirate crew clan. They worship both the Plaguebringer and Tidelord. Some even worship the Stormbringer as well. They live at the very border of the Plague flight territory, in the ocean on a pirate ship. They occasionally visit land to meet up with friends, hunt, or trade. They treat egg having as causal, a thing not just mates do with each other.

Rockcandy, the crew's prophet, decides which dragons are 'destinied for a higher cause' (exalting). The chosen dragon is typically chosen at hatching or after joining the clan, and spends about 2 weeks preparing for the ceremony, in which they are painted with the sigil of either the Plaguebringer or the Tidelord, and then sent to the deity. After an exalt, there is a two day long festivel complete with a feast. Before their ceremony, destinied dragons are given special treatment such as getting food first, and first choice of beds. They believe that a dragon becomes their dream self when exalted. For example if a mirror wishes they were a tundra, they'll be a tundra if they're exalted. If a dragon is born to serve a deity, they will be allowed to grow first, then have their two weeks, then of course their ceremony. Its believed well fed, strong dragons serve better due to their strength.

Bodies are thrown in the water, to feed the fish and nature. This is seen as honorable, as one feeds themself to the ocean to feed others in the future.

The crew believes their nests to be cursed-two hatchlings have died before even a day of age. Only Cthulu knows the truth about at least one of those dead hatchlings.

Familars are treated like dragons, given a special section of the ship, special diets and beds for their species, and generally treated more like a roommate then a pet or animal. Polly, Cthulus familiar, is basically the crews mascot, and can mimic words or noises she has heard. Because of this she makes a good scout and spy. Everyone helps out with familiar care.

The crew also worships a niche deity, known as the Genescrambler. If the Genescrambler sees a dragon who dislikes something about themselves, he will change their genes. He also does it as a party trick sometimes, typically on exalted dragons. He is responsible for gene scrolls.
