I'm assuming both parents of a breeding pair have to have the correct eye color as well, though they'll be bred in the nest type that produces the right kind of babies in order to be registered? Asking because I have two pairs that will be producing festering lichs, once I get them all gened up at least. but the parents don't have plague eyes, cause like there's no plague lich babies on the AH that I could find with the right body colors.

@Nyghtraven Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding, but parentage doesn't matter at all! In Necro lore, a dragon could take the Trials—or not—independent of parentage. Likewise, to be registered, all that matters is that the dragon matches the standard.

So a Festering Lich would need Plague eyes, but it doesn't matter if its parents were Festering Liches, regular Liches, or totally random dragons!

okay, that's what I wanted to know, I can register the parents as normal lichs, and the babies as elemental festering lichs since they will have the proper eye color. Thanks, just thoughts rambling through my head so sorry if it was hard to understand.
