scourgeblue, this is a very wonderful suggestion, and I really really love and appreciate you for suggesting it. Honestly, I was thinking that Flight Rising was a little bit lacking in apparel that brought across a sense of strength, a sense of unity, a sense of empathy. You see, maybe none of you realize it, but that arm means so much more than just an arm.
It comes out of the dragon's neck, a strong, extra limb that can protect the dragon from strangers and keep other dragons from ripping this dragon's neck open. In this way, that arm is a protector. The arm is human, symbolizing us. We protect our dragons. We feed our dragons. We love our dragons. And because we do these things, Flight Rising as a whole thrives. Because these dragons have arms on their neck, they thrive. This metaphor is already very deep, but please, stick with me, and keep an open mind, it gets even more deep.
The strength in the arm is apparent- the well toned muscle and the fingers curled into a fist. This represents our trials and tribulations. The troubles that people have on this fledgling site. The bugs that they sometimes face. However, the admins have stayed strong, have been fixing these problems as they come up. And like this arm, they will forever be strong, forever be ready to punch out some technical issues and rise above the rest, a glimmering symbol, an arm of
hope for all to see.
And, I truly believe this arm will help Flight Rising in the long run. This beautiful reminder of the steadfastness of our members and the dedication of our Admin/Modding team. A reminder to persevere, no matter how many times the Coliseum crashes or the site lags. A reminder that we are one.
