How about ice/mineral crystals as a tert?
So a dragon that looks like frozen at the edges or crystallized with whatever colour the tert has!

"Deep Sea" gene!
Gives a dragon a soft sheen a bit like iridescent scales, but with phosphorizing spots along their body, head and legs.

I'd be so pretty and it'd work fantastically with a secondary called "Phosphorize" that does the same to a dragon's wings.

A matching tert could be a glowing belly - instead of glistening like glimmer it could have a soft, scale-like quality with small glowing spots.

Tertiary gene: Tyto I was inspired by our new owl familiar, simple accent tert that colors the face and accentuates feathers/wings/extra features

Has anyone suggested a red-winged blackbird pattern yet? Not sure about names, maybe "Badges," but it could include a lip of the accent color along with the main one! I think I've also seen requests for wing-specific tertiary genes, well here we are!

It would be a nice little marking on the elbow or shoulder joints that could be really cute, good idea!

A dragon dressed up as bubbles and fish that has a Bio full of lesser known tips and tricks to Flight Rising
I’m not in a Drawing Place right now but! A tert I’m gonna refer to as Glassy!

It adds a shine of the tertiary color to what would be highlighted areas of the dragon! And maybe some sort of undershine or whatever, things that people who do Art and Light know about.

So, it could look like the dragon is very shiny, or inside a glass casing (I would go nuts for a star/con dragon inside a glass casing!) Or maybe the dragon is slick with oil or something, etc. Yeah dark colors might be a bit weird, but there are so many literally magical possibilities! Just by the sound of this idea it feels like a gem gene to me!
