After a long time of struggling due to blue-yellow colorblindness I'm finally to the point where I have to agree that this system does more harm than good. Please please please change it.

so I'm colorblind to the point that unless they're absolutes (true red etc) I can't tell what color they are and even then I may fail. I fail so much on these things. The only way I get past them is by process of elimination and hope that the mass of difference is what I need. But I don't always have this option.
Sometimes that mass is THE SAME COLOR TYPE AS THE BG

So much support. I have sensory issues and I can't look at so many conflicting colors packed so closely together and try to make out the dragon. And this isn't just inaccessible for me - it is for so many neurodivergent and/or disabled people.

the captcha is so bad that i collect images where the dragon is hard to recognize as a dragon and call it
"wheres waldragon" with my friends.

For me though its dragons like this: where the dragon is wearing like 12098310238 apparels and resembles a pile of dirty laundry more than it does a dragon.

Honestly!! But yeah I definitely have trouble sometimes and I don't even have any eye problems. It would be really nice for something simpler or easier :)

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having a difficult time with this issue...
I'm partially color blind so I often get them wrong
Thankfully I've never been locked out of the coliseum but I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later
Especially during events like NOTN where I battle much more than usual
I fully support the idea of revamping this feature to be more accessible!

As someone that isn't visually impaired OR colorblind, holy heck are some of these captchas terrible. The image quality is awful and letting us zoom in hardly solves the visibility problem. They're so much worse for new players that aren't familiar with the various breeds. Have some friends that recently joined and would fail the captchas because they either couldn't recognize the dragon under the pile of apparel or they didn't know about one of the rarer breeds.
As far as I know, captchas on other websites don't rotate the objects to the side or upside down. If you're going to be using low quality images, at least leave them right-side up?

Dear Mather what even is this.
A hard support for all the reasons already mentioned. I have 1) serious problems with bright light bc my anti-epileptics cause mydriasis so I've got flux almost always on the darkest setting--and sometimes even that still gives me migraines.
2) I've also got sensory overload problems, so having to strain to pick out the green upside-down spiral with 15 pieces of forest apparel on a busy jungle background can make me physically nauseated if I'm in the coli for too long.
Staff, this has really gone on long enough. I'm not suggesting a simple 'pick the dragon silhouette', because that would indeed by easy for bots to pick out, but surely you can work out something that doesn't harm the part of your userbase with accessibility issues, and inconvenience a good part of your 'regular' userbase on top of that.
When your captchas are less accessible and more annoying than google's, you should probably go back to the drawing board.

Huge support!!!
I genuinely have to grab my glasses when I go to coli grind exclusively because of the terrible captchas.
Even at that I struggle. The backgrounds are busy, dragon colors blend with backgrounds, the images are small, and ontop of that rotated with occasional apparel piled ontop. It's needlessly awful, I've had to go through 3-4 captchas before finding one I can actually identify a dragon in sometimes. It's a massive timesink, especially during events and festivals.

Support, the captcha is horrible and didn't exist when I stopped playing a few years ago. For a while after I came back I couldn't understand the point of it, and then I figured it must be to prevent bots. And while that's great, it's not so great that so many of them are awful and a pain to try and make out.
Not only can dragons be any color, Gene, position (upright, upside down, sideways, diagonal, inside out) and wearing Apparel that can range in colors and appearance, but the Items, Familiars, and other things that are part of the captcha images can ALSO be any color or position, which can make them look like dragons as much as it looks dragons look like other stuff.
And then, as others have mentioned, there are the times when you 100% click or tap on the dragon in the image, only for the thing to refresh to another captcha because apparently you clicked 0.001% degrees too far to the left or something.
