Vial of (gleaming) (stellar) (nebulous) (glaring) (galactic) (intense) sight
"lightning quasar"
"lightning star"
"lightning flare/gleam/glare"
Other ideas to compile:
Nebulous/galaxy eyes, just void with a bright elemental center
Vial of quadruple/double/multiplied sight: dragons have x2 eyes than normal, but not multi gaze!

I really like this. It's got more... subtlety probably isn't really the word, but it's less cartoony than light primal while still giving that sort of feel without going directly over to being just like glowing. Makes a nice mid-point option without being too similar to either existing eye. Plus unlike light primal you'd have the full range of flight colors, so more versatile and available to dragons outside Light, which would be nice as well.

While this would make a good gem eye it's pretty close to the only other gem eye glowing. It would be nice to see them obtained in different ways.
As for making glowing obsolete, I see this being similar to glimmer vs capsule. While the effects are similar they're different enough to not be interchangeable in may cases. If you want to make it more distinct from glowing, you could make the center/the eye itself a different color than the rest of the glow effect. Most flights have an accent color, such as shadow having cyan and plague having a sickly green (some currently seen in existing eyes but other's being general flight aesthetic).

SaikiyoLuna I see your point about glimmer/capsule. Perhaps it could be more a more expensive gem item or a very grindy swipp trade (those darn dragonflies still hover around 2kg iirc). Maybe even something more innovative/unreleased/a coli drop from a boss.
