I think you should be able see the bios of exalted dragons beacuse many people write extencive lore and if a dragon is exalted then that lore goes to waste.
That would mean a TON of information that would have to be saved in addition to the basic genes/color etc. I'm not sure if restored dragons come back with their bio, so I think it's probably not possible the way exalting works right now.
And to be honest, if someone wants to get rid of their lore dragons, that's on them. I feel like most lore dragons don't generally get exalted, BECAUSE people put so much work into them.
But that's just my thoughts.

I remember reading one of the replies in Help forum when someone asked about restoring dragons and whether their bio are kept. And I remember someone mentioned when they restored their dragons, the bio was kept for all progens even after years, but not kept for regular exalts.
So, in other words, the bio is deleted upon exaltation, even though they are within the 2-week restoration period, if the answer I got was correct. Then I can understand the reason why they are like that. Because exaltation is suppose to be the main method of removing excess data from the system, so it has more space for active dragons (well, dragons that are in lairs). In that case, keeping the bio after exaltation totally defies the main purpose of exaltation, and they might as well give us unlimited lair space and cancel exaltation option altogether, and move all unwanted dragons into a pound or adoption centre or something. This would work if they have unlimited data storage space but of course they don't, so unfortunately this suggestion is not possible.
Besides, if we're keeping EVERYTHING in the bio, then you'll also get a lot of gene notes, plans no longer needed, wishlist, personal notes and such, stuff that people might or might not want others to see. And even players who want to see the bio of exalted dragons don't really care about others personal notes, or do you? :P

Oh god. The lag and the spam. We already make horrendous names for fodder, could you imagine the bios?

oof I like the idea in theory, but in execution I think it would be more trouble than it's worth. I don't really want anyone but me seeing my terrible notes haha
I like it, and think its a good idea. Could be fun to read how long they have been exalted, and the person could put their colors in for refrence
No support, exalting is method of removing information from the site and should remain that way. I could also definitely see some dedicated enough people trying to use this to find out who exalted their dragon and harassing them.
No support, and this has been suggested before. Please do a forum search before posting a new thread, that's what the search function is there for.

No support. It sounds cool, but I feel like it wouldn't be worth the server space. If someone really wanted to, they could easily save their bios before exalting the dragons. If they're creative enough, they can even find ways to save bios without using their own system's space. Basically, it's a problem that has already been solved.

Restored dragons do keep their bios! I’ve restored 2 (non-progen) dragons so far, and they both came back with their bios.
My progens didn’t have anything in their bios when I exalted them, so they were blank when I restored them, but other users have said that their restored progens (exalted several years ago) also had their old bios attached.
All of my restored dragons (progens and non-progens) also came back with their stats, levels, and battle stones intact, too. It seems like exalting just removes the dragons from taking up lair space; it doesn’t appear to strip away the extra info (size, stats, stones, bios) on the backend. Just hides it from anyone being able to see it, so the page is more condensed, but the info is still tucked away in there.
