I think that all of the dragons could possibly have preset "flight backgrounds" to choose from, such as a plague themed background, a water themed background, and all the other flights to choose from for no cost. Sorta like changing your Avatar.
In the market place, or swipp or somewhere, you can buy specialized backgrounds. Like a Brewers background, a cavern background, a circus background, a traveling fortune teller background, a treasure hoarder background, a harpies roost background, a writers and artists shop background, a battlefield background, a prison background, all kinds of backgrounds!
