I can see where someone would get mixed up with the colors, but Buttercup appears to be the lightest of the three with Marigold being the darkest/boldest, and Gold being the one in the middle.
I don't know how it would appear to someone with eye problems or not, or someone that has problem distinguishing color but it looks fine to me (but I have pretty good eyesight so my judgement may be far different from someone else's).
If it is a bug though, I hope they get around to fixing it with the other bugs soon!

Perhaps it's your computer screen? I've seen a lot of people post about their dragons being completely different on other screens so I could see how that could happen.

It's better when you put the glimmer on the same colors. I can easily tell the difference with my screen and my eyes on them, honestly.

I was thinking that as well, and had planned to do something like that, but got distracted. There I can much more easily tell the difference between the three.
I would say the last two look the closest, but the highlight is very different and once you notice that (or at least I do) you notice all the other differences in color.
