Dragons of Paradise or simply paradise dragons are inspired by birds of paradise and archaeopteryx. I am thinking they would either be quadrupedal dragons like fae or bipedal dragons like the wildclaw.
They would look similar to archaeopteryx as shown below.

However I think they would also have plumage similar to that of several different birds of paradise like the ones shown below.

As you can tell you would have plenty to choose from design wise!
As for size, I believe they would be a small breed, larger then faes, but not too much bigger.
They would be native to the Everbloom Gardens.
Personality: Paradise Dragons are an exceedingly vain and prissy species of dragon. In fact their entire hierarchy is based on how beautiful one is, the prettier you are, the higher ranked you are. They are also a highly vengeful breed and do not forgive slights easily. That being said, they are not an entirely distasteful as they never lie and will never commit an act of betrayal as both things are considered exceedingly ugly to them.
Their diet would be plants and insects, but it is unusual one as the species prefers to eat poisonous plants and insects. Like monarch butterflies, poison dart frogs and possibly the hooded pitohui birds, they absorb the poison of their diet and then use it to become poisonous themselves.
Battle: Paradise dragons prefer not to fight as they would hate to damage their glorious plumage. That being said, when forced to battle they are a dangerous foe. Like faes, they fight entirely with magic. While not as magically potent as the faes, they have larger reserves and will fight as dirty as possible. They also enjoy to attack in swarms. Finally it is a poor choice to try and fight one psychically due to the fact that they are poisonous.
So what do you guys think?
Also I would love if someone want to sketch these guys since I can't draw to save my life.
Edit: Now with art?
