They prefer to be as rigid and cold as winter's chill. Of all the dragons, ice dragons are the most unemotional, carefully preserving the world around them to be later analyzed and catalogued. Fossils and artifacts are their favored treasures. [center][size=4][b]Region Information[/b][/size][/center] The massive, frosted expanse of the Southern Icefield once enveloped the entire lower hemisphere, rivaling the size of the continents watching from above. The Icewarden and his brood now resist northern threats from the glacial prisons that they maintain at the bottom of the world. This harsh landscape has embittered generations of its denizens over time, lending to increasing hostility towards outsiders as the landmass continues to shrink. No copyrighted characters). The use of texture is discouraged. Please do not watermark your contest submissions. Entries must be unique and may not be reprints or edits of custom skin items. Winning entries will become an official flight rising skin or accent, and may not be reused or reuploaded as a custom skin at a later date. (this includes edits) Entries that are not selected will still be eligible for being uploaded by the user as a custom skin or accent. [b]Please note our existing rule that line art and shadow must be visible and noticibly darker than the colors on which they rest. Skins or accents that win may be edited to ensure that lines and shadows are still visible, per skin rules.[/b] [br][br] ------ [br][br] [center][size=5][b]Skin & Accent Rules & Reminders:[/b][/size][/center] A reminder to read the [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=skins]skin & accent creation rules[/url]. All entries must abide by these. [b]The exception and addition to the existing rules is that we are are requiring all [i]holiday contest accents[/i] cover a minimum of 5% of the dragon, and a maximum of 50%[/b] (this is a change from the custom accent rules, which state an accent may be 1%-30% - this rule still holds true for all non-contest accents.) Accents are recommended to be markings rather than apparel, which is provided through the festive favors shop. Here some additional reminders for skin rules: [LIST] [*]Skins must maintain an intact shadow and line art layer that are darker than the colors they sit on top of. [LIST][*]Do not erase into either of these layers. [*]Do not make them so light that they do not appear distinctly darker than the colors that they rest on top of.[/LIST] [*]Remember that skins and accents may not cover up line art or extend beyond the silhouette of the dragon. [*]All submissions must be 350x350 png24 with transparency. Large previews are fine, but we need the correctly sized image for judging. You [b]may enter up to 3 times[/b] Two entries may be dragon skins, while a third may be a hatchling skin. Please edit your original post and house your entries within the same reply to keep things tidy. Please [b]no post reservations[/b] (posting a claim slot without an entry.
