@Exquisitor Hi! Did you already ping GASP Imp M/F for these accents back when they were up for preorders rather than already printed? I'm fairly certain it's against GASP rules to ping twice for the same accent(s) even if they're now in a different "stage", but I'm not sure if you already pinged these lists before. I do vaguely remember getting a ping for these accents even though I wasn't interested at the time. I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely do not completely remember if you pinged us before and I'm confused as to why you would think people could've missed your first ping. And also: [quote]4. I do believe some people get tons of pings daily and don't pay attention to each one of them, became inactive for a while. I didn't see the rule about pinging twice until you pointed it out.

Yep, it's true that users who signed up for GASP lists do get many pings. However, it doesn't mean that a sizeable chunk of them will definitely not read the ping. After all, they signed up for their specific lists just to receive pings from artists marketing their accents. But I think many people do read through their GASP pings and will notice when they get pinged twice for the same accent or when they receive other unnecessary pings. ^^"

'I didn't see the rule about pinging twice until you pointed it out.' Sorry, do you mean the rule about linking back to GASP? Because people already pointed out to you, when you were pinging for your Fae F accent a while back, that you're not supposed to ping GASP lists twice for a single accent.

I do remember someone saying that some people might be irked by being pinged twice, not talking about it being an actual rule. This is why I put the notice at the end of the post, to avoid any drama. And I find it strange that nobody but one person in that giant list actually showed interest in my accents, is all.

Well, the GASP rules for accent/skin makers are stated in the thread. Even if it hadn't been a rule - doing something after people have told you not to do it still has the potential to annoy some people regardless of whether there's a disclaimer or not. To some users, it may read as though you didn't really consider their request to not be double-pinged.

If your basis for wondering if many users didn't see your earlier ping is that only one person showed interest when you sent out the first round of pings, maybe it's not that people didn't notice the ping, maybe it's that they actually didn't have interest in your accent even though they did take note of it.
