A Time After Deities

Setting Lore

Long ago, the land was filled with dragons of all kinds. Dragonkind was guided by great gods that controlled the very elements around them, and serving under these terminus beasts for power and control of the land. But these days this is but a legend, with only fractions of knowledge left in the most forgettable places of the earth. And remnants of the power left behind, sunken into the very dirt of the land. Dragon kind has long since been believed to have died out, with very few fossils found and stored within the most secure museums. But hope is not lost, for there are still few dragons alive in hiding. As more and more land is converted into towns and settlements for the various species that now inhabit the modern world, who knows . . .

Perhaps dragon kind will once more rear its head, and fly among the skies once more.
Many may find they want to uncover the absence of their gods, or some may want to explore this new world they have found themselves in. After all there are various strange happenings taking place across Sornieth, almost as if some are wanting to bring dragons back . . .

I'm subbed to the thread, but you can still ping if you want!

So I've been thinking about doing a roleplay with this premise for a while, not really entirely sure where I want it to go. It's just sort of whatever ends up happening.

This is an open roleplay! While the forbidden time portal in Koh's cave is meant for anyone to easily introduce their dragon into the world, you can include them anyway you want. Down below is some excess info about what the world is like now with the beastrace's populating the majority of the land. You don't have to RP as dragon, you can make up someone if you want! Your call.

As far as how your dragons in this current time is completely up to you. Either they emerged from some kind of ice or crystal, time skip whatever you wanna do!
As long as it fits into context

@DreamSlayer
i think it'd probably be better that everyone enters separated for creative freedom

so like pretty much its a world were dragons are supposedly extinct and the majority of the population is made up of different beast races that have kind of advanced in their own civilizations because of it (some with things left over by dragonkind like the mechanics in the lighting flight area)

like if you honestly want to enter your character by some sort of deity magic or something thats ok or if you wanna play your character pov like they have lived in this world but in hiding thats ok its whatever you feel fits the best!
@DreamSlayer
i think it'd probably be better that everyone enters separated for creative freedom

so like pretty much its a world were dragons are supposedly extinct and the majority of the population is made up of different beast races that have kind of advanced in their own civilizations because of it (some with things left over by dragonkind like the mechanics in the lighting flight area)

like if you honestly want to enter your character by some sort of deity magic or something thats ok or if you wanna play your character pov like they have lived in this world but in hiding thats ok its whatever you feel fits the best!
