The younger Skydancer had been going on about that for some time, hadn't she? Well at least it offered a swift conclusion to the night, and Whiteout could think more on the group come morning. Not that he figured he'd be getting much rest in a place like this anyway, even with his own fatigue from the trip just to make it this far. Thinking on it briefly this was likely the first night in a few months now he'd be sleeping under a proper roof again. With any luck in a proper bed too. He'd gotten an alright enough arrangement for who he'd be rooming with. Bazzle the puzzling Wildclaw from arcane, and another member of the ice flight Chengyi. A skydancer with a most uncertain air to him. Certainly like nobody from the Southern Icefiled he'd ever met before, but no more of a threat to himself than anybody else in the group either. Seeing as most everyone else was slowly doing the same Whiteout retreated to his designated room. It started with a struggle to work his gnarlhorns through the doorway, though it felt like more of a nuance difficulty. After all he'd always had issues with them even back home, let alone over the months of traveling the different flights. He actually had more of a conflict with the room itself. After all these rooms were built to at best room two average sized dragons tops. Three may have already been pushing the space let alone having one of them be, well, Whiteout. Not that he could do much about it. From the sounds of it rooms were already a bit limited and he didn't exactly have the treasure to pay for one himself even if they weren't. So with a frown he huddled himself into the furthest corner he could. Usually he'd take the time to record a few notes about the day but now didn't feel like too ideal of a time. Besides even if he couldn't sleep, he'd take whatever rest he could get. He'd simply have to make time for them another night.

While everyone else was chattering and planning and getting ready to bunk for the night, Mistral had already accidentally fallen asleep.
With a loud crash and a startled yelp, the shadows around Mistral fell away to reveal her laying on the ground, face red and wincing in pain.
Her eyes widened when she noticed the others staring at her. She looked down in embarrassment. "U-um... What did I miss.......?" She stuttered.
{Sorry! Needed to find an excuse for forgetting to be on over the weekend... haha, oops,}

Testa didn't comment about Zuri's discomfort, although everyone could have sworn they heard the statue snicker slightly. She politely nodded at Addams suggestion. And when Mistral fell on the floor, she helped her up. "We were just talking. No need to worry." She said. A cheerless bell rang outside. "Gettin' dark." The innkeeper called. Dragon's began to disperse to their rooms. "Well, travelers. It's time for us to head up to our rooms for the night. Oh, a little fun fact. This tavern is one of the most frequented spots for Beastclan attacks, especially at night. Have a pleasant rest!" Testa said cheerfully, then glided up the stairs towards her room, carrying her axolotl statue with her.

Zuri looked sick by now. “G-great.” She gulped, before heading up the stairs to her room. Camper seemed to share Zuri’s concern.

Aruno laughed at Mistral, had the pearlcatcher really fallen asleep during this whole thing? Interesting..."Well Mistral, you, me, and Scorpia have been chosen to share a room. That way we can get some rest before we start to explore our way with Testa...Now if you will follow me, I'll show you our room...I belive Scorpia has already made it there" Aruno said standing from her sit, as she start's to walk towards their room.
Aruno wondered if Whiteout had liked the picture she had made earlier, She knew Zuri liked it, witch was a good sign! But Aruno couldn't help but think that Whiteout, just didn't trust her, witch yes would be acceptable but...the way he just narrowed his eyes at her...Whiteout must have something else about her that bothered him. Aruno couldn't think of any reason's that would give Whiteout the impression that she couldn't be trusted but than again she was a fellow gaoler...maybe that was the reason! Whiteout maybe doesn't trust other gaoler's that aren't from his flight!
When Aruno made it to the room, she opened the door with one of her horns. "Well here it is, it isn't very big but it's enough.." Aruno said as she looked at the 2 averge dragon beds, Aruno frowned but it was okay because they did leave some extra bedding. Aruno grabbed the extra bedding and hauled it to the corner of the room, She took the bedding into a small make-shift bed. Aruno laided down on her now make-shift bed, she looked around the room and found it wasn't very colorful. The walls were a bright blue, the window's were a black, and the floor was a gray brich color. Aruno sighed and laided her head down on the pillow, as she fell asleep all she could think about was what kind of thing's they would see when they explore.

He looked around as Testa left with a smile, the others following not far behind. The other patrons had been slowly filing outside the small bar, and even the bartender had started the used cups idly.

He would have liked to explore the surroundings further— there was a feeling he couldn’t entirely trust, beastclan threat notwithstanding. A serthis could easily crush his hollow bones and they were plentiful in the savannah, he knew, but he had his own strange confidence that it wouldn’t happen. Maybe this wasn’t just an ordinary tavern, maybe the mysterious Veilspun had something to do with it all…

Maybe he was just nervous.

He didn’t like being nervous. The thought had implanted itself seemingly without much interference. Odd; thoughts didn’t come to him in that way.

Well. Surely he couldn’t be that hated a dragon. He got off his seat and followed at a cautious pace the others before finding his own room.

One day, will these too become but distant memories?
. . .
Yes, in the blink of an eye.

Addams made sure to pay the innkeeper for the extra room before heading back to the room he was sharing with Testa. It probably wouldn’t be too bad of a night, right? He took out a couple lucky coins as he sat on one of the two beds and looked at them.

”Eh, prolly not gonna get attacked, right?” He thought to himself. ”It’d probably be too dark for them to properly execute an attack by now. Then again, it’s not as dark as night here as it is back in the Wood…”

The thought of Beastclans being so close by still worried him, so he carefully took out a small box of matches and relit a couple of the burnt out incense cones around his wreath. “Bet I won’t need to relight these once we get over to Fire’s domain.” he thought with a small chuckle.

“Hope you don’t mind the smoke at all,” He called out to Testa. “The scent helps calm my nerves whenever I try to get ready to sleep. Besides, you probably don’t want your roommate jumping around all night trying to practice some old tricks just because he can’t sleep.” He finished off the sentence with a small chuckle.

Mistral laughed nervously before following the goaler into their room. Testa's last remark about the beastclans struck a nerve in Mistral. Fear.
She snuck a glance at Testa as she walked away, and was surprised to see the strange veilspun talking to her statue.
Mistral shook her head and hurried into the room. What was that dragon up to? she wondered. She also wondered if any of the other dragons shared the same thought.
When she entered, she felt a guilty twinge, seeing Taishi curling up on the floor. Then she saw Scorpia standing away from her.
She shook the thoughts away.
"Hey, um... did I miss anything important that nobody's telling me about?" Mistral asked the other two. "Everyone seems tenser than they were coming in here. If that's even possible..."

They had their rooms at last, thank the Eleven. It had been a long day. Scorpia left her uncomfortable chair at the first opportunity, grabbing her stuff and setting them down by a barely more comfortable bed. First she removed a glass tank filled with scorpions, and fed them with scraps of meat. Hopefully that would be close enough to their normal diet to keep them alive, after the sand-snake she'd tried to preserve had died. They had powerful venom, the best source of it she'd found since leaving the Tangled Wood. Now, if she could only get them to breed? Next were her plant samples, the dust-dry leaves and shrooms from her home and the fresh cuttings from the desert. Nothing new there, but it always good to check. The sun-strike cactus normally needed hours of boiling to become powerful enough to use against vermim, but maybe the toxins would be released if she mixed it with one of a certain category of mushrooms...

Lost in thought, the Skydancer barely noticed the other dragons walking in.

Aruno stirred in her sleep, she kept hearing noises. Aruno woke up to someone talking and someone opening and closing a jar of sorts. Aruno shuffled her head around as she opened her eyes to see Mistral and Scorpia, Mistral was asking a question but when she didn't get an answer she just went over to her bed and went to sleep while Scorpia seemed very deep in thought as she walked around looking at her herbs and scorpion's. Aruno took a deep breath and huffed it out, Aruno was tired so as soon as she got the most comfurtable she could get....she fell asleep
