Its too late now but they were the perfect ones to betray. They were going to ask Claec to go back to the Shade realm to help them find someone then they would take his pearl and shove him into the Shades throne room. It would've broken your heart, especially since after that they weren't going to get a second chance after that.

I forgot to mention that Hanii is dead. He did what he thought would be most useful and he sacrificed himself to kill both of Tali's parents but his lore is really long so I won't explain it.
