Moukaite is continuing on her travels with Aeakcys (if Lynx doesn’t show I have a backup plan)

“Absolutely, definitely, I am one thousand percent on board!! If there’s anything, ANYTHING I can do please please please let me know!!”
She was practically bursting with excitement.

[center][emoji=eternal youth size=1][b]Lux, Scribbles, & Vee [/b][emoji=eternal youth size=1] [b][Location: Fallen Forest | Interactions: @Skiie-JoelJack[/b] As Scribbles and Lux were addressed by JoelJack, Scribbles replied with a cheery "Alrighty" before carefully climbing her way over the adult goaler's shoulder and into his forepaw. Lux stayed behind, positioning himself behind Scribbles to make sure she didn't fall, before che himself started carefully making his way to Joel's other fore paw. Curled in the crook of his horn, Vee was thankful for the pause, even if it wasn't going to e long. Her ears twitched as she heard the others doing as JoelJack had asked of them, and she could feel a slight breeze from where she was positioned. Vee prepared herself for the next part of the journey, getting herself in a comfortable position. [rule] {Apologies for the long wait, I meant to reply earlier but kept getting sidetracked ;-;}

Gale/Jeido - Duno @OnyxShade

Gale nodded. "For now, a look around the base and sides of the mountain would be nice, since we haven't sent a patrol out in a while. If there is anything present, let me know." She'd grin, before turning back to Jeido. "Ah, I remember being young, having so much energy and always wanting to go explore.." He said, smiling.
"Y'know, just because you're old doesn't mean you can't go explore."
"I'll... think about that." He said, before flying back to his cave.

Marina saw what Scribbles was doing, and made a cooing noise, sounding like she was curious in what they were doing. She stayed curled in JoelJack's horns, however. She was too comfy to move.

What just happened...
Moukaite clung breathless to the side of a ravine, claws digging further and further into the dry crumbling walls. She stared straight upwards, pressing herself against the dirt and rocks, holding on for dear life. She closed her eyes, forcing herself to calm down. Her breath gradually went from gasps to steady and even, and she relaxed ever so slightly. She opened her eyes, and against her better judgement managed to turn her neck and look down to the bottom of the canyon.
Some dirt clods and stoned were still tumbling down the side near her. Dust clouds rose from where the avalanche had ended up, making it impossible to see down to the bottom. Tears leaped to Moukaite’s eyes as she realized Aeakcys was nowhere to be found. She shut her eyes again, pressing her head into the dirt once more as the salty droplets lit up and steamed along her face. Her claws hissed against the soil and red veins popped through her skin. She growled, her wings unfurled, and she sprung off the side. She glided across the narrow void, toxic liquid trailing from her jaws. She banked sharply and flapped until she reached the top. She dragged herself over the edge, coughing up more goo. She was exhausted. The toxic rush was mostly for energy to escape. She may have gotten herself to safety, but she wasn’t planning on leaving. There was a chance that he made it... there was a chance that Aeakcys made it... she just had to wait... all she could do is wait... Besides, with her leg she wouldn’t make it far in the desert without supplies.
With a leathery crackle she slumped down on the hot sand. She just had to wait...

Dumo gave a last nod to Gale and dashed off in the other direction, her green tail flashing behind her. She kept running over the prophesied dragons in her head, memorizing every detail she’d been given. She launched out of the caves like an arrow, spreading her wings and summoning a warm gust to carry her along. She banked, scanning around the mountainside.
If there was something around here, she would find it.

[center][emoji=eternal youth size=1][b]Lux, Scribbles, & Vee[/b][emoji=eternal youth size=1] [b][Location: Making way up the Mountain | Interactions: @Skiie-JoelJack, @CrystalCatStudio-Marina][/b] As Scribbles made her way into Joel's palm, she looked up curiously to see Marina comfortably perched in the crook of JoelJack's antler. Once she had sat down, Scribbles waved happily at Marina before getting herself comfortable. Lux had also made it into Joel other palm. Seeing that Scribbles was already comfortable, Lux looked up to the adult goaler. "We're ready," he informed.

Once Lux and Scribbles were comfortable he carefully allowed his very long and curled claws to sort of wrap around the two. Making a sort of clawed cage as extra protection. It was difficult to keep his paws flexed like that but he would make do. Then with a breath of preparation he started the climb. Leaping up a good few feet before truly latching onto the mountain side. His wings elegantly moving. Pulling him up and acting much like his forepaws would.

Sometimes he would pause to make sure everyone was alright. Then he would keep going. It would take longer to climb up than usual since he was being very careful. He kept an eye on Vee and Marina especially. Sometimes he would have to swing to the side to pass a particularly egregious part. He would first pause and make sure all were prepared before doing this.

Even with his slower pace they were already half way there within a few hours. When he had gotten that far he finally caught notice of a shape in the sky. Another Haven member no doubt. He smiled internally, knowing that. He didn’t worry too much since Shade touched had never been seen flying and there weren’t many strangers around the Mystic Mountains these days.

[center][emoji=eternal youth size=1][b]Lux, Scribbles, & Vee[/b][emoji=eternal youth size=1] [b][Location: Making way up the Mountain | Interactions: @Skiie-JoelJack, @CrystalCatStudio-Marina][/b] As Joel began climbing up the mountain side, Vee again was holding on for dear life as she felt the wind rush past her ears and the feeling of going up. Even at the slow pace, Vee couldn't help but panic at the feeling. The blind child curled up tightly in a little ball, trying to cover her face with her tail and paws as to try and stop her panic. Even though she was blind, she didn't neccisarly like heights. Scribbles on the other hand was actually enjoying herself. As JoelJack made his way up the mountain side, she couldn't help but look down and stare at the view below in awe. It was quite a beautiful scene in her eyes, as it got smaller and smaller, if only she could paint that beautiful little scene right there she thought.

Marina still was very comfortable in the curl of JoelJack's horn, as the little ball of fluff closed her eyes and daydreamed. She probably was daydreaming about catching tiny bugs. She wasn't too scared of heights, and was perfectly fine with going up the side of the mountain. she wasn't too concerned about falling out of JoelJack's horns.

Wisteria nodded, “Yes, of course. Going right now wouldn’t be a very good idea. Though, if you like, the first of the start of the future journey could start right now with a small journey down to the heavens jars for a fresh drink of water.” Aster looked at his brother with a bit of irritation. He groaned internally but got another flick of the tail from Wisteria in response. Magnolian could only tell that Aster hadn’t liked whatever Wisteria had said and continued his work on the structure that was near the lip of the casm.

Wisteria turned to start heading down again as I signal to Chara of what he was trying to say. He turned his head back in her general direction as a way of questioning expectance. He could tell she was disappointed that he hadn’t ran into the dragon she was looking for but he also enjoyed his nice she was. How, even though she was a tad confused she was okay with traveling with him later on.
