"All right then! Dig in guys! The sooner we start, the better organised we can be for the next part of the journey", which he didn't want to admit, but would be somewhat difficult.
Discreetly, Sandstorm picked up a rabbit and went to lie in a corner, munching on it happily.

Tsuki

Tsuki fully awoke at the mention of food. She perked up and began searching the bug pile for bees, her favorite food. "So, Sandstorm, how long till we get there?" She asked, biting into 3 bees and a leaf she picked up off the ground next to the plant pile (she thought it was part of the gathered food). Her ears were up and listening intently, and the stars lining her body glowed softly, as did the pearl at her hind legs. She looked at the others, eager to learn of them more, and become even better friends.


Sandspur

He had picked up a centipede, stabbing one claw through its head, and promptly swallowed it whole, then picked up another and did the same.
Centipedes weren't generally liked by other dragons, and Sandspur was a bit afraid of them, but he ate them anyways, as they were a great source of protein, and built up natural anti-venom, something beneficial to Sandspur. Once he had finished his fourth one, he glanced to the others and climbed onto a rock about the size of himself, and looked out in the direction of the desert. His tail flicked in the air, a twinge of nervousness found its way into his head, and thoughts of what could happen crawled into his mind.

Sandstorm finished chewing through his rabbit before looking at Tsuki. "I'm not too sure to be honest..." he took out a map and spread it out in the middle of the dragons (but away from the food). "See here," he pointed some ways out in the South-East, surrounded by desert, and not much else, "This is the place they told us to find them. There should be ruins there. As for how long," he combed his beard thoughtfully, "It's hard to say... Deserts are navigated in a very particular way to start with because of it's weather, moving dunes, and food and water resources... That aside there are queer creatures living out there... Some that are quite dangerous... even for dragons." He looked out at the desert. "I can't say for certain. In a straight line, with no issues and plenty of food and water, maybe two weeks... but....we very well might take a month or so..." He looked at his companions, hoping he didn't freak them out too much.

Captain Marshmallow was now laying in the little clearing with Viktor and Dunia, slowly munching on the long grass he found. Wasn't his typical meal, but it would do for breakfast. Nobody said hunting along the way would be forbidden anyway...

Juria glanced over to the food and gave a small nod eyeing up her options. She spent some time deliberating over the spread she chose a few insects heading back over to her pack and began to munch on them nodding in thanks as she did. Juria as she finished her insects strapped her pack back onto her body and began to groom her wings for flight. She nipped and pulled dead scales from her wing arms before adding dust to the thin skin to protect them from the intense sunlight. While prepping for the long journey ahead in the growing heat Juria looked at her companions wondering how this all was going to end. Would they be able to solve the strange energy bursts, or would they fail? what would happen if they failed? the thought's circled within her but were pushed down as she looked towards Sandstorm " is everyone ready?" she asked with a low hum to her scratchy voice her throat plague by the dry dusty air of the land.

Dunia smiled softly toning her usual flirtatious attitude back into a relaxing almost drowsy sort of attitude " That's good. so long as it wasn't bad" she hummed and clicked her tongue her thin fragile wings fluttering slightly to remove some sand dust from her wings and looked over towards the creeks direction hidden behind the brush "it's peaceful here isn't it?" she muttered her mind becoming distracted " there are so many creatures i've never seen i could catalogue every breath this small space makes for years" she continued before blinking realizing she was blabbering on and gave a small laugh " sorry, i tend to get carried away with these things" she apologized running a claw through her tangled mane pulling out the knots a bit self-consciously

"I am" Sandstorm commented, looking around to the rest of the party. He verified his bags and contents, before going around to all the dragons, and giving them a gentle poke on the shoulder (( ;-P )).

Marshmallow gave her a warm reasurring smile, "Quite alright dear. I'd rather see you happy, and getting carried away with something you're passionate about than anything else". He looked over to Viktor, who hadn't said much, nor his other two friends for that matter.

Viktor was silently picking at a few blades of grass with his familiar hanging off the fur of his neck. The candy-colored dragon still preferred the silence to talking. Though couldn't help but agree with Dunia. It was peaceful. Compared to most of the places he'd previously visited or flown over.

Noire just silently chewed on some grasses as he lets his mind wander away to the abyss. Luckily, Valour doesn't have an insane appetite and could live off a few days without food, especially since he had a feast few days back. He'd politely decline and just sat there as he watches the other dragons to eat their plants, his glove-covered claws tapping on the muddy ground in sync with his hums. Just like the others, they both think that it was a peaceful day too, with the exception of Valour having to deal with his Augite Protector, but thankfully they seem to be okay with each other now as the golem cat doesn't bother him as much as they first met.

"Sooo what's next?" Noire suddenly asked as he swallowed down a mushed of grass he chewed on. Valour's eyes glanced over to the bits of grass on the side of the Pearlcatcher's mouth and grimaced a bit at the thought of swallowing wet grass ball or something like that, probably even with some dirt chunks in it. He shook his head furiously at the speed of sound to get rid of the thought quickly, before he gags out what he'd eat a few days ago. "Yeah, do we just take off instantly afterward?" The Mirror quickly spat out his words, trying his best to sound perfectly okay.
