Meleth paused for a moment, thinking. “Porcelain would work, but whatever is easiest for you to get. Thank you, I appreciate-“
She was cut off by a loud shout from Shale. Meleth whipped around to see him thrashing frantically, eyes wide.
“Shale?!” Meleth cried, rushing over to him.
Corenth awoke at the shout and sat up, head turning wildly. When he settle or the direction of Meleth footsteps, he hurried over. “What happened, Shale?”
The coatl shook his head. “I had a dream. It was- I think I saw something.”
Corenth frowned and leaned closer. He called Shale his apprentice for more reason than the ambassador trip. The coatl also shared his future-sight ability. However as a water dragon his ability presented itself differently, and his inexperience meant his visions were not as clear, or even certain to happen. “What did you see?” Corenth prompted quietly.
Shale frowned. “It was us. We were still here, in the wastes, but something felt...wrong. Very wrong.”
Meleth made sure to keep her voice low, unsure if the guard was listening. “Do you know what the threat was?”
Shale’s face twisted in concentration. “I can’t remember,” he sighed. “I’m sorry...”
Meleth shook her head. “Don’t be, But we mustn’t let fears of what could be interfere with our discussions today.” She said, and then louder. “It was likely only a bad dream.” She said, stepping back and letting Shale stand. “Come on, we’ll have breakfast and then go to the meeting.” She glanced at Ariuk meaningfully. “We need to scry Prisma as well.”

The Aqurians finished their food fairly quickly, the silence resting between them like an unsheathed weapon. Satski was clearly on edge, but neither of the boys wanted to ask her what was wrong. If she wanted to talk about it, they would have had an earful by now. Most likely was that the heat was stressing her out-- not only was she used to being among cool water, but sometimes overheating made her body and grip weaker, putting her in an extremely vulnerable position.

Ambica kept rubbing his head and side intermittently, thoughts fuzzy. It had been a strange night indeed... But Unis seemed more himself, at least. As the Pearlcatcher inspected Unis, he saw a more natural expression on his face, and his clothes were put on in their usual orderly manner. Must've just been something he ate, he assured himself.

Not long after, the little trio was ready to go. They left their rooms, retracing their steps back towards where Anduin had met them yesterday.

Ariuk looks at Meleth and nods before seeing the episode Shale had. "I'll get a pot of water. Is everything alright? I heard a shout." He says. He heard bits and pieces and would alert Anduin ifsomething was wrong. He went and returned to the room carrying a pot of water for Meleth and setting it down. He watches Meleth seeing ifshe would inform him of why her fellow ambassador yelled. If she didn't he would still inform Anduin of what he saw. "Shall i wait here?" Ariuk asks. In case another episode should arise, he didn't want to have anyone hurt on his watch.

Ranna was taking a list of possible dragons for Unis and his cause. Hiding it well from any who ask by saying it's a list of dragons on duty. She smiling at Unis when he goes by.

Anduin sees the Aqurian Clan enter. "Good morning. Now we wait for Prisma and then we may continue negotiations of an alliance. Now, has Regulus provided the transcript of yesterday?" He asks. Regulus had delivered them that morning around their rooms. Unless he missed one. Regulus already prepared to document the new day as he sat besides Anduin with a scroll.

"We received them, yes," Ambica confirmed, hoisting his scroll. "Today perhaps we can begin drawing up the specifics of the accords." He settled down, feeling a bit more present than he had been when he first woke. His job normally entailed the specific wording and details within contracts, so today he'd have to be on his toes. Satski seemed to have calmed down on the walk to the offices, so perhaps today could be much easier than the night before. More confident, he sat on nearly equal footing with Satski, head high. Unis remained in the back, coiled up comfortably.

Meleth shook her head. “He’s fine, simply a nightmare. I’m sure you have other duties, I wouldn’t want to keep you. We’ll finish quickly and meet with the other ambassadors. I assume it’s in the same location as yesterday...”
True to the skydancer’s words, the trio got ready quickly and ate their fill of breakfast. The food was wonderful, but Shale didn’t eat much, still unsettled from his dream. He spent the remainder of the time looking over Regulus’ transcript from yesterday and finishing up his own records.
Meleth meanwhile took the water and muttered an incantation over it. Sure enough the water began to glow with a golden light before a disgruntled spiral appeared over it. “Do you have any idea how early it is?” He grumbled. “Some of us are trying to sleep.”
Meleth rolled her eyes. “My apologies, Antick. I’m just calling to inform you that we made the journey just fine, and that negotiations are going well.”
“Oh. That’s good to hear then. Any issues we need to know about?”
“Nothing important.” Meleth replied. Corenth’s head jerked up and looked at her. Meleth ignored him and continued, “We have to go now, I will try to keep you updated. Make sure Evyptid and Rose Get the message.”
“Don’t I always?” Antick yawned. “Be safe you three.” He said, and the water faded back to clear.
Meleth finally turned to Corenth, who was still staring. “You’re not going to tell them about the vision.”
“Dream,” Meleth corrected quickly. “We don’t know that for sure. And no I don’t plan to let them know if you don’t.” The skydancer frowned. “If they knew they’d worry and order us home. We have to do this.”
Corenth matched her frown, but reluctantly nodded. “If anything more comes from this though...”
Meleth chuckled. “Aren’t you the one who said that things will happen as they’re meant to?” She turned and called to Shale, “let’s get going, wouldn’t want to be late again.”
Shale didn’t protest, following the other two dragons. The trio of light dragons made their way to the meeting room and entered quietly.

Anduin nods. "Good." He says. "I feared that he had forgotten. The accords you say? What do you have in mind?" Anduin asks looking at Satski and Ambica. He tapping the floor patiently as he thinks. Regulus already writing. His eyes not on the ambassadors but the paper. He writing what was spoken and by who.

"It is in the same location. Are you sure you don't want to have me escort you?" Ariuk asks. He had other duties yes but this was the top propriety of the clan. He waiting outside the room as they ate and prepared. Once they emerged to leave he followed briefly before closing the door behind them and standing guard to the meeting room.

Anduin smiles seeing them. "Right on time. Excellent. We were just about to discuss the accords." He informs the ambassadors for Prisma. "Please have a seat and we will continue." He having observed them despite the stealthy entrance they had done. Regulus adjusting his scroll a moment to add when their arrival was to the meeting.

"It is Aqurian tradition to write the goals and parameters of every alliance in a contract or accords, depending on the dynamic, detailing what exactly each party is agreeing to do, for how long, and under what circumstances that would change," Ambica explained. "Not only does this prevent confusion should anyone else inquire as to the situation, but it is legally binding and ensures that if it is broken, the Clan who slacked on its duties is responsible for some form of reparations."

"It would be wise to spend today working out the gory details of how many dragons to be sent, when, how much coral, how much metal and how much will be paid for it, so on," Satski added. She hated this part, but Ambica was here to do most of it for her, thank the Tidelord.

"As well as the consequences of violating the accords and how a Clan should go about dissolving them if they should feel the need." Ambica settled down with his own sheet of paper, drafting paper for the specifics of the accords.

Oof, sorry for vanishing yesterday, had to take my cat very suddenly to the vet. (She's alright now, no worries.) Since formal accords/contracts like this are super long and boring, maybe whoever posts next could kinda infer a time skip until most of it is done?
