Crow shivered while trying to fall asleep; he felt colder than usual. He didn't know what it was, and he didn't care at the moment. He pulled the covers closer to him and gripped them tighter, continuing to shiver until he fell asleep.

Gene didn't back up as the giant young man walked up to his bed, the man's upper chest meeting the top of it. He took the hand of the man who introduced himself as Joseph and shook it, carefully not to poke his skin with his claws. He wondered what the giant thought about his scales before shoving the thought away. "Nice to meet you too," he replied. "You mind if I call you Ruko? It means 'nice' in the language I used to speak back where I lived. In fact, everybody who lived there spoke it. Except for a few people, including myself. But I still know most of the words."
He began to notice other people coming in; a young guy wearing all black with black hair, on his phone and generally ignoring everyone in the room. Next he saw a guy with golden scales... he seemed like some kind of drake to Gene. He understood his reaction; if Gene weren't, well, Gene, he probably would've freaked out too. He had seen a lot of trees that were almost as enormous as Joseph was, so he was kind of used to it. Kind of.
"Hi there," he said down to the drake looking guy. He could somehow feel his eyes flash a fiery orange at that moment, despite the smile on his face. He could tell because the area around his eyes felt warm. He smiled apologetically, just in case the color change caught anyone off guard. "My eyes flashed, didn't they," he commented. "Don't worry, it doesn't depend on mood. My eyes change color at random, but so many have mistaken it for anger, so I'd just like to warn you about that in case any misunderstandings happen."
"Anyways, I'm Genesis, but just call me Gene," he said with a quieter voice than usual, feeling exhaustion wash over him. He slipped under the covers and dozed off quickly.
Suki

Suki immediately looked at the girl who entered the room. She had ears atop her head and some form of vitiligo, as well as having a thin tail. Suki was relieved that she didn't have to be alone for long. She blushed when the girl commented on her onesie. Then she heard that the other girl had a Stitch onesie and nearly burst out with joy. "Really? That's awesome! Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorites!" she said with a rather joyful tone. When she came out, she was wearing neon pajamas. "Nice pajamas!" Suki complimented, barely missing someone else come in.
She was a bit exotic looking to Suki. The Kitsune loved to study other species, so she would go out into the woods; this worked great when she wasn't being taken care of by someone else. She knew about the basic ones, the Hellhounds, the Kappas, the demons, the angels... those basic ones. But this one, she couldn't identify. A pale shade of crystalline blue was the color of the girl's body, her skin was scaled, and she had navy blue hair. She had claws and a long, thick lizardish tail. Suki listened to the girl named Tea talk, and didn't feel the urge to laugh at all. She seemed to have trouble forming words, and that wasn't something that Suki was about to laugh at.
"Sulrasians? That's pretty cool," Suki complimented. "I know about most mythical creatures, but I have no knowledge on Sulrasians! Anyways, don't worry about it! I'll be able to get the gist quickly. I'm Suki by the way, pleased to meet ya!" She sounded very cheerful, as if there was nothing wrong with the world. There was nothing wrong about it at the moment; these two seemed like nice people. Besides, she would probably get to help more often, and that was a plus. She turned to the girl with the neon pajamas. "By the way, what's your name?" she asked her.
(forgot to mention that Gene has a specific language he used to speak XD)
