Yellowstone National Park. Such a beautiful wondrous place with beautiful forests, breath-taking geysers, and a giant deadly ticking time bomb! Well not a bomb exactly, but a massive super volcano. Scientists have told us not to worry about it, saying that it hasn't erupted for 70,000 years and it won't blow up in the 21st century. Even if it did, they said, it wouldn't be a world ending event.
Well, science isn't always right.

Yellowstone blew up. Not erupted, blew up like a nuclear bomb on steroids. Anything living from Indiana to California were obliterated in the blast, much larger than anybody could've expected. The other part of the US was plagued with blankets of ash, like a blizzard of black, the sky was dark with gasses and even more ash. Earthquakes crawled along the world, causing even more eruptions and destructive tsunamis. Not only a day after, the sun was almost completely blocked, and the world went cold. The destruction was massive, nobody would've guessed destruction could be that bad.
But that was three months ago.
RULES: (Yay!)
1.) Follow the typical Roleplay Rules
2.) Though this isn't your typical magical or sci-fy roleplay where everyone has powers or whatever, try not to create Mary or Gary Sues.
3.) 1-2 characters, if you want a third, message me.
4.) Try to keep it Pg-13
5.) Try to type at least a paragraph, and try to be active, if you're going away please notify me/us
6.) I'm going to do the stereotypical Have Fun! But not the characters. No, they're miserable.

She has her hair up most of the time in a low ponytail. She wears a thick, teal hoodie, loose jeans, and hiking boots. Since the eruption, her face is constantly smeared with ash, but she swears she's a neat person. She also constantly wears a watch, a silver necklace, and a purple school backpack.
[b]Personality:[/b] Brooke likes to jump to conclusions. She can be fairly irrational, though whilst in school was a straight A student. She's kind and curious, which is either her best attribute or her greatest flaw. She's mildly talkative and does talk to herself every once and a while in a weird mumble voice. People like to believe insane, but she also swears she isn't. She's also likes to avoid the truth, not straight up lie, but not tell the whole story. She doesn't like to reference her life before the eruption and often skirts around it.
