"Forward," she says, companion Serthis now sleeping draped across her shoulders for the time being to avoid being left behind. "Only backtrack for dead ends."

"What's the point of turning back now? We're here to explore! The only reasonable choice is to press on forward." He took a few strides ahead, impatient to move on. No one seemed to be disagreeing, so what were they waiting for?
((ooc: @Rexila @Chriture I know you're still getting together the stuff for days 4 & 5, but were we supposed to have received day 3, yet? Sorry for all of us bugging you about this!))

No use in backtracking; at least the trees ahead looked vaguely familiar. "Forward, please," Ysera said to the guide.

JungleRose flits about the group, listening to the answers of everyone else and nodding her head in agreement. "Forward! Forward!"

"Move forward" Liramel sighed. This shouldn't even be debated. Those who back track should be left behind by those who will take the lead.
Though he wasn't very fond of the encroaching trees. BUT he must move forward!!

Yara agreed - moving forward seemed liked the best option for the group. No use going backwards unless it was absolutely necessary.
Time to see what other adventures were ahead before the expedition ended!

"What point is there in going back?" Karyu asks. "Let's move forward. We already had the chance to look at the places we've already been."

These were the biggest trees Canopy has ever seen! Of course she wants to go forward! There's nothing she loves more than flying between a dense forest.
"I agree with the others! Let's keep on pushing forward."

The group keeps going forward. For a little bit, the trees seem to get taller and thicker and the canopy blots out more of the sun... and then, gradually, it's lighter again. Each tree the group passes is smaller, until they can finally see between the trees ahead, and light beyond them. There's still one massive tree growing into the path, blocking it with its roots - but the guide steps forward and with a wide gesture the tree shudders and lifts one giant root from the path, forming an archway for the party to pass through.
They may want to watch their heads, though - little things fall from the tree and are knocked off its neighbours when it moves.
The guide isn't bothered - she smiles at her group and motions to the root-arch. After you!

Reaching the heart of the labyrinth, you find an enchanting jade statue of the Gladekeeper; She stand tall and poised, a picture of grace amongst the jungle chaos that stands behind her. At her feet are 15 beautiful flower blooms in a wide range of types and colors, creating a half moon around the clearing. As the sun reaches into the glade, the morning dew sparkles enchantingly.
Your leader approaches and wipes a few vines off a wooden sign under the statue. "If you have made it this far,” the nocturne reads carefully- “Then the Labyrinth has found you worthy of its greatest treasure- the life it gives to the world." Slowly, the petals unfurl, in a slow synchronized motion. Inside, there lies a large open chest, full of an assortment of seeds. The labyrinth has given you its greatest gift, plants straight from its heart.
Once the display has finished, and the expedition had gathered their prizes, a door opens once again in the vines, and beyond it you can see the festivities. Another gift it seems- the way out.

((That's all, folks! Thank you all so much for participating in this game! We're sorry for the delay in prizes, there were some unanticipated real life roadbumps, but we'll get them all out over the course of today! So sit back and enjoy [s]coli grinding[/s] the festivities! :D
@Chriture and had a great time organizing this and running it (though it was very educational at the same time), and we hope you enjoyed too! Until next year/game!))
