I’ve been playing pixel cat’s end a lot lately, it’s another virtual pet game like FR, but with cats, or not-cats.
I saw a forum post where the guidelines were basically this, all credit goes to user Chocolate for the idea!
- Players will sign up by typing “deal me in” in the thread
- players will send each other messages asking “do you have any chests” (for example)
- The other player will either send the requested item in a CR or message, or if they don’t have it or aren’t willing to give it away, they will say “go fish!” And give any seafood item instead.
You can be as general or as specific as you want with your requests.
Also, you can play on the forum, but it should only be done if one of the players doesn’t allow random messages, which I definetly understand.
That’s basically it! Just remember to be civil, also don’t ask for treasure, gems, or specific dragons. Dragons in general are okay just don’t ask for a dragon by name.
I have decided to add a gallery of current players, if you were not added here, please tell me and I will add you.
After some conversations with players, I’ve added an FAQs section
Quote:
Do players take turns?
No, it’s not required. I know this may seem weird since it’s how go fish is played irl. But this is what the creator of the idea did so I’m using their rules as a base. Of course you can take turns if want though. If people are taking turns the players involved decide when it ends, whether that be when you get fish or when you get bored.
Many of the FAQs can be found on the
original forum post, most of them apply to FR, just replace cats with dragons
Alright, deal me in I guess!

Hellhoundspack just so you know, the game should take place over messages to keep things simple. However if you don’t allow messages for non friends, players can play in the forum. Messages was how it’s done in PCE, but if it comes to it I may work out a different way for it to be done since FR’s community is so much bigger.
However, to answer your question, yes I do. I’ll send a message

Hellhoundspack It’s totally okay! We’ve all forgotten to read to rules of thread before.

Let's try this apologies for any lateness I'm attempting this in the middle of finals studying when I need a break, and upcoming winter break where I'll be on hiatus.
Deal me in anyways!
