To make sure I have my understanding straight: Donating a stack of currency allows us to buy any previous badge, yes? Does that currency also count for tickets, or no?

Yes, donating a stack of current fest currency (All-Seeing Shroom in this case) allows you to buy any previous badge and counts for tickets. Also, added you to the pinglist! :)
