The gourd gachapon is now closed for another year! All orders sent in before rollover last night will be honoured. If you have outstanding bonus coupons, you can still exchange them for more gourds by pinging or PMing me or another attendant. If you'd like to be on the pinglist for next year's gachapon, just let me know and I'll add you to the list!

Roll on up to the one and only Gourd Gachapon, back again for its fourth year! Try your luck at winning a variety of pumpkins, squashes, zucchinis and even rare spooky gourds!

Each gatcha token costs 5000 or 5
Alternatively, if you have completed your collection from previous years you can purchase tokens for 2022 gourds only for 7000 or 7
Some gourds from previous years have been retired from the gachapon. You can still purchase these gourds individually - see below for prices!
To purchase gatcha tokens, simply send your payment via 1-Way CR or PM to an online attendant and they will deliver your gourds to you! You can order as many gourds as you like but for large orders, check with an attendant first that they're happy to serve you.
For every 10 gatcha tokens you purchase (including retired gourds), you will receive a bonus coupon which can be exchanged for a gourd type of your choice*. To exchange a bonus coupon, ping an attendant in the thread with your choice.
The Gourd Gachapon is open from the 9th-15th October 2022.
All proceeds from the Gourd Gachapon will be donated to the Water Dom Bank

Click above to visit the event sheet, where you can check which attendants are online, which gourds you've won and how many outstanding bonus coupons you have, as well as pick up the BBCode of the gourds you've earned!

There are sixteen types of gourd in the gachapon to collect, all of which have an equal chance of being rolled. Each gourd type comes in four varieties - two common (each 30% chance), one uncommon (25% chance) and one rare (15% chance).

* When exchanging a bonus coupon you can choose which type of gourd you would like to receive. The variety of the gourd (i.e. common, uncommon or rare) will be randomly generated, but you are guaranteed to receive a gourd you haven't already earned** with each bonus coupon! So if there's a particular gourd you really love you can get it no matter how much the RNG tries to stop you

** This includes any gourds you earned in previous years, so you don't have to start your collection again! If you have changed your username since last year, please let us know so we can update our records.

Common gourds (natural colours) are 10,000 or 10 each
Uncommon gourds (unnatural colours) are 15,000 or 15 each
Rare gourds (animated) are 25,000 or 25 each

To purchase a retired gourd, send a 1-Way CR or PM with your payment to an attendant, along with the list of gourds you'd like to purchase! (Bonus coupons cannot be used to purchase retired gourds.)

I would like to grab some - not sure how many or from which year or whom to ask if the order
end up big... was wondering this bonus for every tenth - do each 10 have to be obtain all at the
same time. (& is it only current "non-retired" stock that count towards these tally total numbers ?

@urbancountry26 If you haven't ordered before, I'd suggest purchasing "all gourds" tokens as that will give you the option of all the current non-retired gourds! It doesn't matter how many batches you order in, every 10 gourds you buy (including retired gourds) you will receive one coupon. So if you bought 5 gourds and later bought another 5 gourds, you would receive a bonus coupon.

If you want to order a large number of gourds, I'm happy to fulfill that order for you! I hope that answers all your questions, and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more :)

@teddy2008 no, that's right! The 7g option for 2022 gourds only is for folks who completed their collection in previous years - so they can pay a little extra to pick only from the pool of gourds they don't have yet. Of course you're still welcome to pull from the all gourds pool if you'd prefer!
