I'm not actually anti-exalt at all, although "exalt rescue" dragons are often dragons I think are very pretty that I find in the bottom of the AH and might find a home where they can stay. I sometimes train and exalt dragons myself if I'm not feeling too lazy, and frequently sell hatchlings as fodder. That is simply just NOT what this is for. If I wanted to sell or exalt these dragons I would just do it myself. Of course you are always completely free to do what you want with a dragon that you own and I can't dictate that to you even if I give you the dragon. I just wouldn't give you more dragons after that and might block you.
