Eirwyn chuckled "oh, this little thing" she lifted her wings to show off the gold covering the inside of her wings. "This is hardly gold, it's only 24k"
This is Eirwyn, the most pompous dragon to ever exist. She uses her fathers wealth to buy the most expensive things in the market, then she shows it off to flaunt her wealth. The most ungrateful as well might I add.
"Wow! Your so cool! " her posse shouted.
"I know" Eirwin beamed. Closing her wings. "Tis only natural for the Kings daughter."
She looked over at a nearby village folk."Peasant! You wouldn't mind driving me back to the castle whould you?"
The peasant, which was a skydancer, agreed "oh yes your magesty! It would be a privilege to!" He said with a sly grin, leading her to his wagon. "Step right in..."
The ride was smooth till they got to the castle, and they drove right past it. Taking the alley next to it, where no gards would see.
"Excuse me?" Eirwyn said, "The castle is that way!" A look of panic seeped into the damsel's eyes.
"I know,but your not going there." The skydancer said. "How would I get my ransom, if I took you to the castle? That would ruin the point of kidnapping you, wouldn't it?"
"How DaRe YoU!" She screeched clawing his face. "DO YOU KNOW WHO MY FATHER IS, YOULL BE BEHEADED FOR THIS."
Eirwyn grabbed his head and threw him off his wagon, she jumped off and landed on top of him.
"Treasonous clod..." She spat, before snaping his neck.
"And that's the end of the story" Eirwyn finished, looking up at her father, the king of Ember fields.
"Eirwyn, it troubles me greatly that this happened to you, I might have to keep you in the castle until your safety is garranted" The King wearily said.
Eirwyn glared at the marble floor.
"Or, I could send you to the arcane flight to protect you."
Eirwyn stared at her claws, " send me to the arcanes flight."
After her belongings were arranged for transfer, she was escorted to her new clan by a dragon named Pathos, whose scales sparkled like sappires . Eirwyn tryed to strike up friendly conversation with her.
"Soooooooo, how's life?"
"Please don't talk, your voice is annoying "
"Is singing allowed?"
Eirwyn's face hurt for a week after those shenanigans.
It was only 2 days travel before they arived at her new clan. Everybody from the clan, (roughly 14 dragons) were waiting to meet her. Something she noticed right away was that she would not be the oddball from a different flight. The clan consisted of different flights dragons. Eirwyn felt at ease.
"I think I'll like it here."
