Despite that, he often is plagued by dragons of the clan wanting gene changes. This annoys him so much that he eventually refused to serve any more gene changes until he received something he wanted for himself, a spider companion to go along with his lovely(??? is that really the word we're going for Alya?) toad companion, and a new custom coat to place over his crystalized body and wings.

Niphredil painstakingly restored the lace and flowers by hand, making sure to never let them crumble or be in any way harmed beyond fixation. She decided to wear them after she restored them, and combined them with silks and a lantern, like her mother did before her. She is now considered the most beautiful of the clan, and many are envious of her family heirlooms.
