Im excited for both Night of the Nocturne and all the nice food that gets cooked at this time of year
As a mom, Christmas means [i]a LOT[/i] of extra work for me... But, it's work that is well worth it. I love seeing the Christmas tree in the family room twinkle while I sing along to Christmas carols and make my specialty confections for everyone on my list, just picturing the looks on their faces...
Cost of baking supplies: $180
Time to make everyone's special favorite treats: 2 weeks
The feeling that I get when seeing the joy that my goodies bring: PRICELESS =)

Light Festival:
I am excited to be off school for a bit, to hang out with my family, and for the awesome holiday meals that always happen c:

I'm mostly looking forward to spending time with family this holiday season. We're all a little spread out now so getting time together is beyond wonderful. :)
And I really have a thing for Christmas lights. I don't really decorate that much myself, but I love to drive around to see the houses all lit up and festive.

I have actually spent several days gathering gifts for my family and friends and making cards! I am just really excited to give back to the people that love and support me <3

I look forward to the christmas ham. Each year we get one and slow cook it till the meat falls apart. After christmas the hams go on sale and we might get another one.
