This is a fundraiser for Water's dom bank and part of this year's Wavecrest Saturnalia festivities. It will run April 14th-20th (Push week) There are 10 bird familiars hidden in a 16 x 20 grid. To uncover an unclaimed square, fill out the form and send brit 30kt or 30g per square. You may pay to uncover as many squares as you would like to. You should submit a form and add 30kt/30g to your message for each square you want to uncover. When a familiar is uncovered, all participants will earn the badge. This means by participating in the event at all you automatically qualify for all badges that are unlocked previously and in the future. The map will update automatically every 5 minutes or so, if you accidentally send in a duplicate square as someone else I will move it to a nearby square as soon as I can. Please only submit the form for squares that you intend to send in funds for! I will have to remove the automatic updates if folks submit extraneous forms.

It has a diet that consists of over 80% fruits, though it will opportunisticly consume leaves and insects as well. Their song is a popuar motif to mimic for purposes such as doorbells. Blue morph occurring in 40-50% of individuals is colloquially known as the "Ragepuff", though birds of either coloration may be aggressive when nesting. The Ruby Webwing is well known for continuing to grow past adulthood until death. While it is theoretically possible for these birds to reach massive sizes, their metabolism quickly becomes too costly for them to maintain without feeding constantly. When they grow too large to feed on flowers, they switch to tree sap, and use their serrated beaks to pry back the bark.[/i] [/indent][/columns] [columns] [indent][img]https://i.imgur.com/m6d3I9d.png[/img][/indent] [nextcol] [indent][b]Blue-Footed Eggull[/b] [i]Uncommon. The Blue-Footed Eggull serves two important and unique roles in the ecosystem. Firstly, it picks barnacles off of surfacing bicorn whales, which helps them swim faster. It then uses the barnacles to build its nest. Secondly, it steals and consumes the eggs of other birds. This gives the Eggulls a bad reputation, but helps keep the populations of these other species stable and not increasing.[/i] [/indent][/columns] [columns] [indent][img]https://i.imgur.com/H5ef4ui.png[/img][/indent] [nextcol] [indent][b]Buff Dunerunner[/b] [i]Uncommon. The Buff Dunerunner is known to hunt and kill dangerous prey that is even larger than itself, such as Shattered Serpents and Desert Stranglers. It has been known to bury venomous prey and return to it several days later, when the toxins have been neutralized, to consume it. Requires tremendous heat to incubate its eggs and only nests within active volcanoes. Research is being done on methods to artificially incubate the eggs and raise Steam Gyres in captivity, as a seismic event that changes the shape of The Great Furnace has the potential to cause their extinction. The female Sakura Owl partakes in a unique breeding display known as "blooming" where she grows an abundance of extra feathers. When she has attracted a mate and the eggs are laid, she molts all of her feathers at once, rendering her flightless for a period of several weeks. During this time she remains on the nest to incubate the eggs while the mate hunts for both. The Glorious Dayjar feeds primarily upon daytime insects such as bees and wasps. Compare to Death Seeker where ranges overlap. These birds are nomadic insectivores that flock to areas where precipitation brings worms to the surface. The eye on its chest allows it to search for worms on the ground while remaining vigilant to any airborne predators as it flies. Highly intelligent. The Tradewinds Gull is widespread across Sornieth due to its domestication and use as a messenger bird. Feral populations have been established on both saltwater and freshwater coastlines. Its native breeding range spans the southern shoreline of the SoaTC from the Reedcleft Ascent to the Tsunami Flats.
