[/b] No! Each task is worth a set amount of points. 1 point = 1 ticket towards winning a prize**. The more tasks you complete, the more entries you'll have to win. There are a maximum of 172 points total including the base 2 intro post points,150 photo task points, 10 digital task points, and 10 bonus task points. ** Because of the high value of the Wind Sprite, there is a minimum point requirement of 100 points ** This may include points from the digital and bonus tasks. [b]How do prizes work? [/b] The tasks you complete is the amount of entries you have towards the prizes; 172 tickets per person is max. Prizes will be drawn using a random number generator in batches of 10 with the names in order. The first person will list their choice, second person will list their top 2 choices, etc. You can only win once unless there are enough prizes/few enough people to repeat once everyone has a won something. [b]Can I use one picture for multiple tasks?[/b] Yes! Please list or label what tasks you're using the picture for. [b]What if I can't complete a task due to access, ability, etc? [/b] Some tasks are meant to be hard, but tasks are also open to interpretation. I love a good pun! I care most about keeping the essence of the hunt. If you're doing your best in good faith, then I'll probably be cool with it. As I stated in the intro post, the main goal of this event is for you to have fun! However, please know that responses are counted once and you will not receive additional points. I've had much longer than all of you to think about these tasks ^^; Any of the tasks can be taken as literally as possible. "A bird is a bird is a bird." "Chicken" can be an actual, real life chicken...BUT you can also play around with these tasks as long as it keeps with the spirit of the task. I am also a sucker for a good pun... so while I want things to keep with the spirit of "things with wings" I miiiight be lenient if you can pull off a good pun. Example: some alternatives you might consider for "Chicken" could be a chicken shaped dish, a chicken/chick plushie/squishy/toy, or art featuring a chicken. Even more detailed - art could be a graphic on a product to something in a museum. [u][b]Some specific task hints: [/b][/u] [b]Birds, Bugs, and Bats [/b]- [spoiler]taxidermy or images etc (see above) are totally fine; a lot of these can be found in local wildlife sanctuaries or natural history societies/museums. Reminder to remove/avoid location identifying features.[/spoiler] [b]Fantastic Things With Wings[/b] - [spoiler]naturally, we can't do literal fantastical creatures since they don't really exist (sadface) - artwork, figurines, products, toys are all good ways to find these creatures[/spoiler] [b]Inanimate Things With Wings[/b] - [spoiler] artwork, products, toys, figurines[/spoiler] >Plane [spoiler]paper airplane![/spoiler] >Field or theatre - [spoiler] try a local park or school (that has public access- please do not trespass!!) for an athletic field or court - baseball, volleyball, football, soccer, rugby, tennis... all fine! Reminder to remove/avoid location identifying features. If there are people present in the image, you must blur or censor all faces. The other option for that task is for a theatre or stage - local theatres or music venues are your best best but you could even make a little stage (or field) diorama or something![/spoiler] >Caduceus or Winged Staff - [spoiler]the caduceus is a common symbol used for medical related buildings or products. Reminder to remove/avoid location identifying features if you take a picture of a building or sign - just the caduceus needs to be visible.
